Heritage Concrete

Originally referred to Steve by another company I found on Angie's List. It just so happened that the morning I called, I learned that Steve was actually in my area and could come by to look at the project. I opened my schedule to meet with him. The project review went fine and we never discussed ANY schedule expectation (since I was in no rush to have the work done). I was excited when Steve was leaving that he unprompted told me he would email me a proposal and cost estimate that very day! Unfortunately, I never saw it. I emailed him late in the day (around 4:30 PM) and asked about the proposal. He responded back later that evening that he wasn't going to bid on the job (although I had been waiting all day for the proposal and did not call any other contractors!)! He made some mention in his email that he "thought" I was in a hurry to get the job done, when, in fact, I was not and, again, we had not even discussed schedule. My sense was that he didn't want to do the work (for whatever reasons), although he told me on site that he was interested (and that he would provide an estimate). He didn't even bother calling me! Very disappointing! Don't trust a man that doesn't keep his word!
