THE OWNER NICK P. CAME TO MY HOME AND GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE OF $1590.00 TO MAKE AND INSTALL 6 DOORS AND 8 DRAW FRONTS ON 2 BATHROOM VANITIES, I SHOWED HIM MY HOME, LAUNDRY ROOM, AND KITCHEN BOTH WITH SHAKER STYLE CABINETS. I TOLD HIM I WANTED SHAKER-STYLE CABINETS DOORS AND DRAW FRONTS. HIS ONLY OTHER EMPLOYEE. CHRIS WHO WAS VERY NICE, CAME ABOUT 5 WEEKS LATER TO INSTALL IT. I TOLD HIM RIGHT AWAY THAT THE DRAW FRONTS WERE NOT CORRECT. HE SAID YOU WILL HAVE TO TALK TO THE OWNER. I HAD PAID HIM A DEPOSIT OF $800.00 AND WHEN HE CAME TO PICK UP THE BALANCE OF $790.00 HE SAID HE WOULD REPLACE THE FLAT DRAW FRONTS AT HIS COST OF $280.00 WHICH I AGREED TO PAY. MANY CALLS AND TEXTS WENT UNANSWERED. HE HAS MANY OTHER REVIEWS ON DIFFERENT WEBSITES THAT SAY THE SAME THING, WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM HE WILL NOT RESPOND AND MAKE THINGS RIGHT. MY NEIGHBOR WAS THINKING OF USING HIM AND WONT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM. NOW. I RECOMMEND FINDING SOMEONE ELSE FOR YOUR CABINET NEEDS.

"Richard Stevens contracted Cabinet King Refinishing to supply and install 6 doors and 10 drawer fronts in one of the bathrooms at his home. Doors and drawer fronts were to be finished in "pure white" color by sherwin williams and doors were to be installed with new soft close hinges. Total investment - $1590 / 800 down 790 at completion. Mr. Stevens wanted "shaker" style cabinet components to complement his kitchen but really wanted to keep the price down. At the time of consultation and putting together our agreement I informed Mr. Stevens that "shaker" style cabinet components use 2 different drawer front styles, and the "flat" option was less money! Mr. Stevens ordered "flat" ones... Because of the many times Cabinet King has ordered "shaker" style components I reiterated the fact that we were ordering "flat" drawer fronts for his bathroom and took the time to WRITE IT DOWN on our agreement that he signed. After receiving the final payment for a job well done, he wanted me to look into getting him different drawer fronts. In a review of my experience working with Mr. Stevens, I made the decision to part ways and didn't think we were a good fit for each other. I believe Mr. Stevens submitted his claim to the BBB/Angie/Google because he was upset that I refused to keep working for him. We beautifully completed his project and was paid in full at completion. Our agreement was satisfied, and I don't want another one with Mr. Stevens."
