NEED A MAID

Chris Kimsey and his team are thorough and professional.  They have been very responsive to additional requests or changes to accommodate us.

Each week, my home is spotless.  I love that she takes initiative to clean the things even I don't notice.  I have been using Need a Maid for years and I can't say enough about their work ethic and attention to detail.

All I can say is these ladies are FANTASTIC.   I was more than impressed.   I called them to do pretty much a whole house cleaning as we are moving into our new home.   They arrived Saturday afternoon and started to work.   Both ladies worked hard all day, but the job was bigger than anticipated so they returned Sunday afternoon to finish.
They go above and beyond in what they accomplished.   Everything they touched was done to the highest level of quality and when done my house looked like new. 
I sincerely appreciated the quality, professionalism and just overall friendliness of this team.   I highly recommend them to anyone who wants service where you truly get what you paid for and more.

She comes every other week.  The prices are reasonable.  I've also used them to clean my windows and gutters. 

After having some repair work done after water damage, and also unable to do any deep cleaning, I checked out Angie's list for help.  I called a few people and decided on an interview with Barbara Kimsey, of Need A Maid.  She came out and we discussed what I needed for a first time deep cleaning.  It would include both floors of my home with the greater amount of work being done upstairs (my main floor).  I have always taken care of my own home and finally had to admit, I needed help to do the knee and back bending work. 
   Barbara came out, gave me a price, and we decided we would break it into two trips.  The cost would be $30 each (3 workers) for the first floor and 2 workers for the bottom floor.  They were running a little late, on the first day, but she called and it was fine with me.
   When they arrived, the work began and did not stop for 4 1/2 hours, when the work was completed.  They lifted all recliners,
 the chairs, couch, and any furniture that needed to be moved was moved and cleaned under.  They dusted the top of all cabinets, corners of my ceilings, cleaned plastic plants, mirrors, bathrooms, all rugs, vacuumed and mopped all floors, cleaned window blinds and seals, and baseboards, and much more.  They had my granite shining like it was new. 
   The next time they came, they attacked my downstairs with the same energy.  My husband and I were so pleased with Barbara's work that we decided, if she was available, we wanted her to come every 4 weeks to do those things I could no longer do.
    Barbara doesn't take advantage of your time with lots of breaks or talk time.  She is going full speed from the time she arrives until she is finished.
    So far, it has been a blessing to have someone, I can trust, to do a really good job.

They did a top to bottom cleaning, and the baseboards which we were going to paint, really just needed a good cleaning.

We asked for additional powerwashing on the entrance ways decks and they had that done for us in a very timely manner.

They are a reliable family orientated business and we were thrilled with the professional job that they performed for us.

Barbra was running a little late, called and confirmed a later time [for which she and staff was punctual]  Did a very good job and left my new home clean and me satisfied.

Barabara and her team did a good job on the home getting to areas which we have not been keeping up with like the blinds and floor boards. They all worked very h****** the house and were focused on detail as they cleaned hitting every spot. The hard wood floors came out great. When shown an area in the bathroom which needed a second look the response was good and they fixed before they completed. I found them very easy to work with and know they would have done what every it took to get the job done to our satisfaction. I will use Need a Maid again in the future for deep cleaning and will use them for bi-weekly cleaning if we puruse that type of service.

I contacted Barbara the week before I needed someone to clean. Her schedule was nearly full for the time I needed the cleaning done but she was very interested in my business and wanted to try and accommodate my needs. Our hardwood floors had been refinished and I was not expecting all the dust that was left on the walls, windows, pictures and counters. Having allergies made me realize I did not need to get into the dust and clean the house myself. We were able to set a time for Barbara to come out. She called me when she was on the way and arrived with all the cleaning supplies needed for the job. Her husband and another lady came with her. They started work and I left them at my home to attend a meeting. I was amazed at how much they accomplished in 2-1/2 hours. The house looked great and it was wonderful to come in and not worry about all the dust. These are very hard workers and do a great job!! I would use them again in the future.

This is several cleanings that they have completed for me. I love coming home the days of my cleanings. They do a GREAT job which says a lot has I have several pets and very hard wood floors to clean. When I called to get the initial estimate Barbara was very punctual with getting back to me. She quoted me a price and although my place was very difficult she honored the first cleaning price. This was a very respectable thing to do. Based on that experience, I have continued to have them clean my house every 2 weeks. I would definitely recommend them.

I am very picky about my windows and I usually do them myself. Based on excellent service with housekeeping I decided to have Barbara clean my windows. She worked with her husband and son and they did an excellent job. There were 4 windows that are impossible to access from inside the house, two of which are above a sloped side lot making ladders difficult - but they managed to do those beautifully as well. I thought I might be satisfied but not impressed with cleaning the sills and the sashes and internal drainage areas of the windows, because hey, who is so paranoid about them but the homeowner? But Barbara did all that work herself and did an amazing job. I will definitely have them back in the fall.

My regular housekeeper was ill and I needed a substitute for 2 weeks. Barbara very graciously agreed to do two housecleanings. She brought her own products and was very meticulous. She did not stint her efforts even though I made it clear that I would continue with my regular housekeeper as soon as she recovered. I introduced Barbara to my neighbor and she now cleans weekly for her.

Need A Maid has cleaned for me for almost 5 years now. I have been very pleased with the service. It is a family business, which I think is important. The Kimseys are honest, hard working people. They are very reliable and stable (never missed a scheduled cleaning) -- which is a lot to say for this type of business. They have been in business for a long time because of the great job they do. I prefer this type of cleaning service over the chain cleaners (you never know who will be cleaning your house that week). In addition to my home, they also have cleaned some investment properties for me -- including some very difficult jobs. Barbara has been flexible and helpful to try to work with our schedule and busy lifestyle (2 kids, etc.) I will continue to use Need A Maid and definitely recommend them to others.

House had many areas that needed a lot of hard work and expertise to get clean. They worked until they could not scrub any more. This was not an easy house to clean. I have hired them again, I trust them to work hard and do a great job to make the house look great.

Chris and Matthew Kimsey clean my house. They do a great job 98% of the time. The 2% margin wherein I've had to discuss with them always results in better work. They are very professional and have positive dispositions. Very friendly and open to discussion about what could be done better.
