We provide FREE estimates and at the consultation, we educate our potential client on the products we provide with the utmost respect and integrity of the individuals needs.The Shutterworks manufactures, paints, and installs all of its shutter products made for each customer. Our prices are charged by the square footage of each opening. Specialty arches and items are priced according to the size of the piece. We selected Shutterworks based on the reviews we read on Angie's List and subsequent meeting with Renee and Denise. Important to us was this is a North Carolina family owned business manufacturing in NC with a reputation for competitiveness, professionalism and quality. The install was yesterday and we could not be more pleased. From start to finish, working with Renee and her team was a joy and it is easy to see the pride they take in all aspects of customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend them to anybody considering this type of window treatment.

We obtained quotes from three companies for plantation shutters for our house - about 20 windows. The Shutterworks was that highest cost estimate (about 20% more); we went with them for a number of reasons - they are local to NC and manufacture in state, they are family owned, the same team who gave us the estimate and measured was the same team who installed; they will repaint down the road if for some reason we want to change the color. They came in and installed in one day - they did have a problem with one window, but were back in three days with the new shutter. The product is great - we have no problems, they look wonderful and the team we worked with was great.

They are awesome. They were very helpful. They had a showroom that you could go to and see their shutters. They came out and measured, talked to us and made suggestions on how to do things. They were helpful because we weren't sure of what we wanted. They took the time to dye it with different colors so that we could make a choice. They were just very thorough. We had a problem with the shutter and they had it resealed, stained and everything then had it back to us in 2 days so it was great. They were very professional but with a homey feel. We have recommended them to people already.

I found Shutterworks on Angie's list and called them for a 'free estimate.' Renee arrived with her helped exactly on time as promised. The estimate was promised by e-mail the next day, which arrived as promised. I accepted the estimate, sent a check and work began on my shutters. They were promised to be ready is approximately 5 weeks. They were ready early. Renee called with an install date which was 9:00 am on 10-12-2011. They arrived at 9:00 am with all supplies and by ll:30 am were finished with installation and instructions.
At no time in the process did anyone promise something that didn't happen as stated and particularily on time. Their promptness, quality of product, price and professionalism is "top notch"..... I will call them again should I need their services and will recommend them to my friends.
What an inspiration to see the "old-timey customer service." Being a senior citizen, I was trained that to have a successful business, customer service was a must. It is REAL customer service (not a recording that says "Your CAll is important to us.") And then you have to respond to a machine.

From the beginning of the process until the end this was the smoothest household remodeling project I have ever worked on. Shutterworks arrived on time, provided detailed quotes in writing in a timely manner, installed the shutters on time and kept me informed of the progress as the project was going forward. You could not ask for a more professional group of people, higher quality product and excellent value. As a former decorator, I know quality and a good value.
