Signature Flooring

We have had the pleasure of working with Signature Flooring twice (2017 & 2020) and both times they have gone above and beyond to provide us with the best. In 2017, we had all of our home's hardwoods refinished since the previous owners had painted them. In 2020, we had carpet removed and hardwoods installed. We have been exceptionally happy with both jobs. Signature Flooring provides high-quality products & service, reasonable prices, and good communication. We would also like to give a special shout out to Chelsea, our project manager in 2020, for being incredibly helpful and responsive during our hardwood floor installation while we were out of town. We would highly recommend Signature Flooring to anyone for their flooring needs.

Awful and a nightmare. The project was promised to be completed within one week. The work Signature did took longer than a month. This is not counting the time it took me to find another company to re-do and repair the mess Signature made of my home. My refrigerator was in the dining room for weeks. The quartz counter was poorly seamed ( but the owner of Signature said he thought the seam was “just fine”); two tiles on the floor had to be lifted and reinstalled by the second company I hired (Jesse Morrison and Sons) due to them being crooked and corners not flush; the ENTIRE backsplash had to be torn out and reinstalled because tiles were crooked! Really? Yeah. Signature company tried to straighten out the backsplash by removing and reinstalling a few tiles but seems once one gets subway tiles going crooked, they all go crooked. Right. They refused to tear it all out and re-do unless I paid them MORE money. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I paid another company (Jesse Morrison and Son) to rip it all out and replace the entire backsplash and the non-flush floor tiles. Mr. Morrison had to take the kitchen walls down to the studs in order to properly install new tile. Signature flooring refused to replace the thresholds from the kitchen to the dining and living rooms. Jesse Morrison did it for me for no charge. Signature somehow punched a 6” hole in the drywall behind the refrigerator that we didn’t find until we had to move the frig Again for the repairs. Mr. Morrison repaired the hole. The poor work just kept revealing itself. The backsplash was so poorly installed by Signature that switch plate covers couldn’t be replaced. Jesse Morrison fixed all that with the new backsplash. Wood baseboards they had removed they didn’t replace, instead told me that the baseboards weren’t there to begin with. What the? This project was a disaster from the beginnng. Signature owners were sarcastic, told me I was too picky to want tiles straight and flush. It was a nightmare. I paid them their full price ($10,000 - for some reason this form won’t let me put that amount in the designated field) and moved on with finding reputable workers to fix everything Signature messed up. It was important to us to get our home back into order.

They did a great job. Some of the boards were off color (not their fault.... issue was with manufacturer) and they were happy to liaise with manufacturer to get new boards and reinstall.

They were spectacular. Very with them. Two people came in and it took two days. They did the whole house. They came to look first to see what the job was. They coordinated with the ducts that had to be put in. They cleaned after themselves, they did a spectacular trimming the way I would expect.

I cannot speak enough to what an amazing job they did! The quality of work was top notch, they adapted on the fly, and they managed to refloor my entire house in three days (including removing all of the old carpet and tile).  The result was perfection and it's stood the test of time three years later.
They also had a very impressive selection of material to choose from. For our kitchen I wanted the safest, least slick floor for my family, and they showed my a variety of tiles which had defined friction coefficients. I found the highest values and the style which we wanted, and the result is a marvelous and safe kitchen floor even when wet. You cannot get this knowledge or product choice when going to the big box retailers.
Simply put, Signature Flooring could not have done a better job. Bravo!

Bath tile looks great!
Floor is terrible. Tiles are uneven throughout, even after tearing up and reinstalling on leveled sub-floor. Grout lnes and levels are inconsistant.

The installer that laid the Armstrong floor in the bath made a ridge on the floor between the bath and water closet that was not there before. Had to go to office-only then did they agree to fix.
Signature installed hardwoods in our kitchen. About a year later we noticed the floor starting to buckle. Because of pictures that we had taken during the installation we could see that there was no barrier put down. Signature came out to look and did agree to fix.
The next problem we had was refinishing existing hardwoods.. The installers said the swirl pattern on the floor came from the stain bucket on the floor. We had to call 3 times for them to come back to finally get it right.

The installers are the problem. Anyone can sell the product but you need someone to install that has the knowledge.

We were provided with a free written estimate, and the work was performed quickly and with attention to detail. I was very pleased with the final result and the overall look and feel of the laminate flooring that was installed. I will definitely return to Signature Flooring for future flooring jobs.

It was great. There were a few little glitches and they were unsure how to fix it. They came back and fixed it. There were no complaints about this which was important for me.

Company was recommened to us by a friend. Salesperson came to our home to overview our project and take measurements.
She then provided us samples of recommended products and estimates for recommendations. We we not completely decided on the full scope of the project and continued to look a the options and other products and suppliers. After reviewing our options, products and estimated pricing, we decided on Signature Flooring. They were very patient with us throughout this decision process.

Once the agreement was made and the product ordered, the installation began on schedule. The installation team consisted of 3 persons, who were very focused and professional. The team lead was obviously very experienced and kept his team on task. He listened to any request we had and was able to solve issues to our satisfaction.

The installation was completed well within the time frame estimate. One box of laminate product had some defects when opened, and the salesperson delivered new products personally to replace it, so the project could be finished.

Our only complaint was the fine sawdust that was all over our 1st floor, furntiture, curtains,-- everything. The team had set up a work space on our deck on the initial day, and left our back door open to move in and out. All that fine dust just came into our house and was on everything. This could have been avoided by closing the door, or at a minimum, covering our furnture with something. The 2nd installation day it rained, so they set up on our garage -- which then had the fine dust on everything.
The team swept up, but that wasn't going to get all the dust off of everything else. It was more of a clean up job than I anticipated.

Overall, we were very pleased with the installation and the end result. We are pleased with our flooring and the achievement of the look we desired.

Other Companies that we contacted might have had similar products, but even the best other estimate was 25% higher than Signature.

We will us the Signature team again, as we progress to additonal projects in our home.
