For Example when my Dogs were Groomed I had "Pulled Out" my Back and as hard as I tried could not make my Grooming appointment on scheduled time. I am an hour away from this provider depending on traffic, it can be more during the summer.
My babies Groomer Sandy Wong "took them anyway." They could see that I really had pulled out my back and was trying my best to get there. I was 45 minutes behind schedule and rather than make me feel bad or turn me away, they accommodated by "Pulled Back."
I had made my appointment ahead of time and this had happened in between.
I have had two really Great Groomers in the last ten years and Sandy is one of them. The dogs were cut exactly as I had hoped and she is expert grooming around their facial area and ears that is so tender.
She did the best job with their ears, eyes and my boys "beard" area around their mouths. When I picked them up they each had the cutest Bandanna tied around their necks and they each had bows (Blue for Boys) in their topknot (as they are Yorkies and yorkies
usually have top notches ....even the Yorkie "Man of the House", had a topknot and was so Handsome (for about two days) until he "roughed up his bow"...however his "bandanna" stayed put and so has his great Grooming.
Sandy is a very talented Groomer. Not all Groomers can Groom and be Gentle and loving as well as giving a great Groom; Sandy Can do all of these things.
Given a choice I had rather have a "so so Groom" with a "Gentle handler" than a Great Groom with a "Rough and abusive handler" and will not tolerate the latter. Sandy can do both and the Groom turns out AWESOME!
A week or so later I took all three to stay for about 5 days, as I needed to go out of Eastern North Carolina for a bit. I am very picky about where I board my Boys and only board them when absolutely necessary, they are such an important part of my life and I love them so much. They are truly "Angel Dogs."
When I was concerned while Boarding, because I had not heard from them when calling and had to leave a message over the weekend...they called me back the next day to reassure me.
I did not worry about my dogs while I was gone and knew they were in the very best of hands. I felt completely confident with their care and was reassured with the phone during the four and a half days.
I also must mention the Vet Tech or wonderful woman on their website who is a Pretty Brunette inside and Out, as she spent lots of time with them on their "walks" during the day.
I was impressed with the cleanliness of all the kennels, and the private run for each one...though small it still gives the animal a chance to "get out" when they choose . It's not the size of a backyard of course but is a nice small run attached to each kennel.
My boys stay together and had no trouble doing so in the "roomy" kennels provided by Lynaire. My Yorkies are on a special diet o and they accommodated this request as well.
I have found my grooming and boarding home in this area and know of one no better.....across the entire State of North Carolina.
I'm sure there is one of almost equal value and one as good but I know Lynaire is among the vey best, as they are topnotch in EVERY way.
From Bathing, to Grooming , to Boarding, to making sure your loved Pets get attention and exercise every single day.
I also must mention the two other people I came in contact with at Lynaire, who take care of the animals when you board them.
A Man and a Woman whose names I cannot recall, but who "dropped to the floor" as soon as they saw the Boys the day they were Groomed to "Play with them." This action sealed the Deal, for Me!
I knew Lynaire was the place for my Boys for Boarding. I hope Lynaire will responsd to this review and tell everyone their names.
i am sorry I have forgotten them, but will make it a point to get their names and add an addendum to this review if Lynaire does not.
i can't say enough about Lynaire Kennels in New Bern on Old Cherry Point Road. They are the BEST I have ever seen ALL THE WAY AROUND;)
"Thanks so much for your kind words. All our employees love dogs and it shows every day. I am sure the man you speak of is John. Not sure who the other girl was. Linda Jarvis Owner, Lynaire"
