Everything went well. Eric and his staff came out, asked us what we were looking for and budget we had. They installed a Sonos System, that is compatible with our in home speakers. We are able to cut on with iPhone, iPad, or computer. They even installed outside speakers for patio. Just wished we could get them back for a little more education on how to use. I feel like the system offers a lot more than we know how to use. Thanks Eric

Reworked and reinstalled modem. Reconfigured tv and all components. Added new sound bar and speakers. Got rid of annoying wires and components, installed new speakers in wall. Installed/programmed new computer, made sure printer was synchronized and working. Programed new remote to replace multiple remotes. Spent time teaching us how to use everything. We now have better sound, user friendly systems! They were on time, courteous, professional and friendly.

The team is probably the easiest, most responsive people I?ve worked with. They are one of those rare vendors that takes great pride in the work and in doing work the right way. If it?s not right, they will address to make sure thinks work correctly and is esthetically pleasing. They went the extra mile to get the TV installed and move an outlet when it was in the way, came back out to
replace (no questions asked) a glass break that behaved a little erratically, and have always taken the time to answer questions and ensure we understand how to work the system. The central station monitoring service is a terrific deal, at half the price of other monitoring services they are polite and timely. Our dog set the alarm off one day, we were both called and the police were dispatched since we did not answer. All as it should. The central station personnel have always been polite and quick on the several occasions they have called due to alarm triggers (all a result of user error!). I will use this team again in the future and highly recommend them as a committed business.

Great job by a professional organization. I'ts so nice to have a discussion about an alarm system with an experienced security professional...rather than a 22 year-old salesman sent to my home by one of the "big guys" armed with high-pressure sales tactics. Eric was very helpful going through my home with my wife and I, asking questions and discussing the options we had. When all was said and done, he provided a recommendation based on our needs and a very reasonable price to get it done. All work was done professionally and on-time. He even repaired a mess that a previous tradesman had left with some wiring. A week after the install, we received a proactive call from Video & Security Specialists to see if we had any questions and to make sure that we were happy with the work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that might otherwise call ADT or CPI (I have had less positive experiences with both) for an alarm system.

They did a great job. We recently purchased a home in Matthews which had an outdated alarm panel. I will be installing home automation later and had very specific requirements for the alarm system. Eric was familiar with all of the equipment I needed and wrote up a very detailed quote. The prices for all of the equipment were spot on and there were no huge mark ups or up selling. In a world of "free" installations which wind up having a ton of hidden fees, it is refreshing to find an honest business that truly works off referrals and cares about their reputation. The installation was extremely neat and orderly. No dust and no extra holes. They are very meticulous about the appearance of their work and take pride in the details. The system works very well and was programmed for all of the zones. Monitoring was included for the first year and is very reasonable. I would recommend them highly. I will be using them for all of the speaker wiring and structured wiring to be installed.

Everything is now working fine. I have been using this company, the original installers of the system when the house was built (I am second owner), for nearly six years. They have always been responsive and competitive on pricing, quality, etc. They bill me each year for the central monitoring service, which, unlike national companies like ADT and others, is located nearby in North Carolina -- not in another part of the country like those national security companies. The people who answer know the area. In fact, the woman who called when my alarm woke me up at 4 AM, made sure I was alright and stayed on the line with me until I could check all entries - no signs of a break -in. Just faulty tamper switch.
I should also mention Eric has years of expertise in this field and in law enforcement so you have that vast experience working for you as a customer.

The work these guys did in my house was awesome. My house already had an old, nonfunctional alarm system installed, so they replaced it and were able to utilize some of the wiring for the doors. They added wireless switches to every single window in the house to give me really great protection. The switches are so small you don't even notice them. They even brought my phone line into the garage so it couldn't be cut from the outside. The alarm was a little more expensive upfront than what one of the big companies wanted to charge me, but their monitoring charges were about 1/3 of the price, so I know I'll save more in the long run.
What really blew me away was the sound system they put in, it's absolutely phenomenal! They did an excellent job hanging my TV on the wall and they were able to fish wires up my walls to give me a true 5.1 surround sound experience. They gave me very nice Infinity in-wall speakers that sound fantastic, and a nice compact subwoofer that tucks away nicely in the corner but really packs a punch!
The really tricky part was getting speakers upstairs, which they made seem effortless. They had to run wires down into the crawlspace, come out in the garage, go up the unfinished wall, into the soffit, up the side of the house next to a downspout in a 1" conduit which isn't at all noticeable, and into my attic from there. There is no messy wiring anywhere and it's great to be able to turn on some music on my office or bedroom upstairs.
I was really nervous about letting a company come in and cut holes in my walls and ceilings but these guys did a fantastic job. They didn't make a single mistake anywhere that had to be patched, and they didn't leave a single spec of drywall dust when they were done. The owner, Eric, has some great stories to keep you entertained while the other guys do the work too! I highly recommend this company
