Value Vacuum & Central Vac Repair is excellent. They do a really great job. His pricing is very good.The vacuum that I purchased from him, is exactly what I was looking for. He is really great. He can diagnose vacuum problems. I feel he is honest. You don't bring it home, and have to take it back two days later. He is good at helping you find the product that is right with you. I will continue to use him again in the future.

Jeff has serviced my central vacuum system about 3 times over the last three years. He is always anxious that he get paid when he is here and I have always paid him promptly at the time of his visit. On one visit, he suggested I buy from him an entire new vacuum, hoses and attachments. It was a costly purchase. One of the attachments, the main vacuum, broke in December of 2006. After several phones calls, including one where I spoke to Jeff and he said that Lisa (his wife and office manager) would call me back, I gave up trying to obtain their help for repair on a piece of equipment that they sold to me. This was not the first difficult experience that I have had with Value Vac, but it is the last. I have since found several better quality service companies with much stronger customer service.

Did not tell me at the time I made the appointment, that the payment is required at the time the service is completed. I was out and the repair man followed my babysitter around the house until she could contact me and I called the office with my credit card. If this is their policy and they refuse to leave a bill or invoice they need to let the customer know at the time of scheduling.

Once Jeff got here, he was quite professional and efficient, but getting him here was an ordeal. It took well over 10 days to arrange for a service visit, and they were very slow in returning calls. It was through a home warranty program, so I didn't have much choice in vendors, but if I was looking for independent service, I'd never have waited that long.

VERY GOOD. JEFF WAS PROFESSIONAL THROUGHOUT AND GAVE A REASONABLE TIME ESTIMATE.

THE WORK WAS DONE IN A LOT LESS TIME THAN I HAD EXPECTED, (EXACTLY ONE WEEK FROM DROPPING THEM OFF). THE PRICE WAS A LOT LOWER THAN I HAD THOUGHT. I EXPECTED AT LEAST $30 MORE. THE SHOP IS ALSO EASY TO GET TO. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT HE TAKES GREAT PRIDE IN HIS WORK.

DANA THE INSTALLER WAS EXTREMELY EFFICIENT AND CLEAN. JEFF CAME BY A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER TO CHECK HOW THINGS WERE GOING.

MAKE SURE TO GET YOUR PRICES SET AHEAD OF TIME. WHEN I CALLED FOR AN APPOINTMENT, THEY QUOTED ME $195. HOWEVER, AFTER THE JOB WAS FINISHED I WAS QUOTED $245. WHEN I COMPLAINED, THEY APOLOGIZED AND BILLED ME THE CORRECT AMOUNT. THEY SAID THAT THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT THE OFFICE HAD ORIGINALLY QUOTED. I FELT LIKE IT WAS AN HONEST MISTAKE.

ITS FOUR YEARS OLD AND THEY CLEANED IT UP SO WELL IT NOT ONLY LOOKS BRAND NEW, BUT RUNS LIKE IT TOO!

I WAS SO PLEASED. I WANTED TO GIVE HIM MORE THAN WHAT HE CHARGED!

BY DOING A LITTLE WORK, I DIDN''T EVEN HAVE TO THINK ABOUT PURCHASING A NEW VACUUM FOR THE TIME BEING. SEEMS TO PICK UP BETTER -- MORE EFFICIENT WHEN I VACUUM. WOULD USE COMPANY FOR REPAIR OR PURCHASE.

JEFFREY BAILEY, OWNER, DOES ALL THE WORK. HE DID NOT CHARGE A SERVICE CHARGE AND HIS LABOR COST WAS CHEAP IN MY OPINION. WHEN MY MACHINE CAME BACK IT WAS LIKE BRAND NEW. HE TAKES GREAT PRIDE IN HIS WORK. IT'S THE BEST SERVICE I'VE RECEIVED IN CHARLOTT
