Very friendly, responsive and quick

Very nice and friendly but came hours after the expected time.

Responsive to my needs. My move isn’t completed yet so cannot rate the move itself

They were very quick. And efficient and also reasonably priced. Would definitely use again.

The move began 1.5hrs late on Friday. There were only around 18 items to move. The largest of those items were 2 beds and a couch. When the movers finally arrived I showed them the nearest elevator to where they were parked in order to avoid steps. They immediately mentioned that the walk was long. (I have moved furniture into my apartment etc. from this same elevator and it was not an issue at all) The elevator was on the same floor as my apartment and they had hand trucks and other moving gear on wheels. There was another elevator that was closer to my apartment but that elevator would have required them to go down a few steps and they felt like this would have taken longer. I showed them to the apartment so that they could get an idea of what they were dealing with. One of the guys says that this should be easy. They take pictures of all of the furniture for documentation. Then they leave to go and grab their things from the truck. They were gone for at least 30 minutes! When they came back I expected them to have all of this equipment because of how long it took but they only had plastic wrap, hand truck, and a dolly. I get a call from the moving company that tells me that the long walk from my door to the elevator was going to be additional money. I could not believe it. This "long walk" was not really that long. I had done it so many times but regardless, if I would have been told this up front that distance from door to elevator could incur additional cost, then I would gladly have paid for it. I told the company that there was another elevator that they could use that was closer. They did not want to use it. They said that it would be quicker to just move all of my items to the elevator first and leave them there and when everything was at the elevator, they would take it down and load the truck. So, they begin with breaking down the beds. I am told that the bed in the master bedroom has a stripped screw and this is the first time in 14 years that they have dealt with a bed that they could not disassemble. I was confused because the people that put it together used an L wrench and it was pretty simple. I brought this to the young mans attention and he said that he didn't have the correct size but that he would reach out to the company to find out what to do. I am looking on the internet at you tube videos trying to figure out a way to get the bed broken down but they were not interested in solving the problem! 3hrs later, still at the apartment trying to get a small amount of furniture moved, i am told that they were instructed to leave the bed and that they would refund me my money for the bed!! I was in disbelief that this company was telling them to just leave the bed and offer no other solution. I called them again and was then told that they would have someone come back to take apart the bed with the proper tools on another day and get it moved and assembled. I let them know that I had Sunday available. They then confirmed Sunday. The guys finally, at around 8pm, were done with getting everything moved over with the exception of the bed. However, I had to take the plastic off of most of the items because they were going to just leave it. So unprofessional!!!! Leaving plastic trash at my house that they was apart of the moving materials!!

Friendly staff when you are setting your initial appointment. Unfortunately, in my opinion, they are not organized, and their disorganization was blame on me. After agreeing on a price, I am paying a deposit and they demanded more money for their services. I would recommend you finding a more honest moving company.

The movers I had were great, detailed and diligent about my things, and they came early and got the work done early as well.

Do not use this company!!!!! Damage my furniture. Wrote a review and Amilea said I was telling lies. Unprofessional they dumped my wardrobe boxes on my closet floors. Over charged me . Horrible experience with them

Good moving company

First Iâ m clueless about moving. From the start Luis and Amelia were courteous, knowledgeable and eloquent . They put me completely at ease. Luis toured my house. Amelia fielded my questions. Then they sent in the superheroes. These gentlemen took charge and had my prize possessions moved in a blaze of glory. I am heart failure patient I worried the stress of this move would be too much. But thanks to United Family Movers Iâ m enjoying my new home in good health.

They called the very next morning 8:30am Gizelle was very kind, helpful and explained everything step by step. 5 minutes quote was written. With a few wick questions. Awesome set up move in date and time. Haven’t moved yet but I am looking forward to an easy transition.

They arrived on time were polite and very efficient and very professional. I would recommend them anytime.

They arrived 2.5 hours after the end of their window. I had a flat rate, which means Chelsea came to inventory the job and handed me a brochure om why the price won't change if the contents were what she inventoried. The crew. while nice, they exerted pressure to leave items behind (stating I went over their inventory). In fact, I brought about 100 hanging shirts and towels that were part of the inventory Chelsea inventoried. I purchased packing materials, but I already had four of my own boxes that I packed because I wanted to know where the contents were after moving. They taped my 4 furniture items shut and gave no thought to removing the tape because the hour they ended was late. Items like my printer were left boxed, even though I caught their attention walking towards my building elevator to make a fast exit. Once they put things in order, there was no thought of asking me to adjust items. While Sunset Movers are far worse, they sent two guys who only spoke Spanish and held my stuff hostage for additional money twice. I cannot in good conscience see why these guys get top-notch reviews. They even managed to broach the subject of tipping and writing a review. I decided tipping was inappropriate based on the rush, and after being very late, I described.

THEY WERE ON TIME AND VERY PROFESSIONAL WHILE COMPLETING THE JOB. OVERALL THEY WERE EXCELLENT

Mover was a convicted felon who made me feel uncomfortable. He and his inexperienced partner arrived two hours late. No notification received from office nor did they answer the phone to notify me of the delay. Movers broke and damaged many items (two large pictures, broke off legs on two pieces of furniture, floor lamp, tv).I was billed $400 from the landlord to repair damage to the building and elevator by the movers. I filed a claim immediately. Luis (who claimed to be the owner) called one month after I filed the claim. It is now over 3 months later. He does not answer my calls or texts. I have not been reimbursed for damages as per our written contract.
