A guy came to look at the source of the leak. He said that it's most likely leaking from the boot but it's such a small job that they won't do it. Their minimum job is $1500.

This was my first experience with TruGuard, and I found them to be extremely professional. The job was done as promised, there was plenty of communication, and there were no surprises. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

From beginning to end TruGuard was easily accessible and very dependable. The salesperson was not pushy. Showed us his recommendations, then was willing to work with us to get the price we wanted. No issues accepting Angie's List coupon. Work was done very efficiently and professionally. Any issues I brought up were immediately responded to and addressed. The price for some of their work can be on the pricier side, but the quality is definitely there.

Throughout the entire process from the quotation phase through the project completion, the Truguard representatives were first class professionals. The TruGuard team has been great to work with! They sacrificed quality for speed. They damaged a Japanese Maple tree in my front entry and The rain censor for my irrigation system. The new roof had a number of problems that they were reluctant to fix. I had to hire an independent roofing inspector at a cost of $500 to prove the sloppy workmanship. It was only then that they fixed the problems. It took several months to find a replacement for the damaged Japanese Maple which cost $1250 dollars which I deducted from my final payment.

Excellent company. Presented a very detailed proposal. While maybe not the least expensive option the many positive reviews and initial presentation made us feel confident they were the right choice for our project. They provided daily updates and kept us informed of any issues. They cleaned up the yard at the end of each day keeping my neighbors happy. Project manager was excellent. I would hire this company again.

I chose Truguard because they had the best warranty and also a pay in 1 year same as cash plan. They provided the best sales pitch. Someone met me in my difficult to reach hours and explained all of their services. I was very impressed. I think the final product is fantastic. I will say I am not easy to please and attentive to details...meaning I was on the roof looking at the job done in detail and home on my breaks from work to check up on the progress. I was not happy with everything. There were nails left in the driveway and lots of nails in the yard. My soft bedding around my house was totally flattened. It was drought season when my job was done and the staging in my yard killed the grass for that season. They put a tarp over my air conditioner and in the heat, it killed the a/c. They fixed it. They lost my gutter protectors...they replaced them. They damaged a screen on my back door. They replaced it. They moved a very old picnic table and destroyed it. They didn't tell me and I found it in pieces in the back yard. They offered to replace it. It was more sentimental value than real. They didn't quote in my roof ventilation near the gutters...forgot the name of it. They put it in at no extra charge. They made mistakes and they fixed them or time fixed them or it was ok. I am very happy now with the roof.

I found Truguard to be conscientious and very responsive to any concerns. They seemed eager to please the customer. I'd definitely use them again.

They wanted to charge 6000.00 dollars to remove 20 wood planks and replace them with their product. This is outrageous.. They have a good product but based on the way that they tried to swindle me, I would never use their services. Beware and always get a second estimate. I had the same job completed 2 days later for 1200..

I can’t say enough good things about TruGuard! Because we had multiple jobs, both interior and exterior spread over a couple of years, we were able to work with different crews and they were all great to work with; very professional, on-time, communicated issues in a timely manner, and kept work area clean. They weren’t the cheapest, or the most expensive. We felt like we always got a fair price for the work performed and we trusted them to do a quality job. I would definitely recommend.

From the initial call, I did not get a good feeling. The young lady asked several times if my husband would be home during the consultation. My husband is a police officer and his schedule can be erratic. I told her I could not guarantee he would be there, but that it shouldn’t matter, as I would share the information with him, and we would make a decision. I told her that I manage the household finances as well, therefore the ultimate decision to spend the money would be mine. They way she kept asking bothered me and I even said, “Hold on a minute. Are you one of those high pressure sales type companies? If so, I am not interested in dealing with your company.” She assured me they were not and they just like to have him the there. Again, I told her it would probably be just me. The call ended with an appointment date set up. I shared the whole conversation with my husband that evening. He immediately said, he didn’t even want to be at the consultation now. The next day, my husband calls me from work to tell me that they called him directly, to see if he would be at the appointment. Never in my life have I been so insulted. I felt as though they were checking up on me. This isn’t the 1970’s where only the husband is in charge. You have to seriously look at your sales practices, as well as being unprofessional by calling my husband directly without ever mentioning that to me. Needless to say, I called immediately and cancelled the appointment. I told the young lady who answered exactly why I cancelled and feel free to have their president call me! No call whatsoever. Guess they didn’t need our money that we gladly gave to a competitor that I had lined up as well! SHS is here replacing our siding as we speak and doing an awesome job, beginning to end. I looked through all of the reviews and was SHOCKED not one person mentioned the high pressure sales tactic they were trying to use with us!

The team was very professional across the board from the project manager to the installers themselves. Everyone on the team was detail oriented, ensuring that the work was not only functional but also beautiful. I have an older condo with windows that had been originally installed flush to the wall without trim for a clean, modern look. They were able to figure out how to do the install without adding decorative trim, maintaining and even improving upon the original look. They even finished some of the walls around the new windows that were damaged with age. I have also had water damage issues from the building itself and my upstairs neighbor that they very helpfully documented.

After requesting an appointment via their website, I heard from someone in the office within hours and had one of their renovation consultants scheduled to come out within a week - could've been sooner had my schedule allowed it. They were a bit persistent in trying to schedule it so that both my wife and I were available for the visit (to reduce the chance of a "I need to talk to my spouse and I'll get back to you" objection to closing the sale perhaps?) - not a huge deal but it stuck out to me. Matt arrived on-time and, after doing a quick walk-around of the house with me to discuss our concerns and let me point out particular spots, he excused himself to do a full inspection including climbing up onto the roof. After about 30 minutes we met again to discuss his findings using photos he'd taken during his inspection. Based on prior provider visits I wasn't surprised to hear that his recommendation was a replacement with a larger capacity gutter. I agreed with his recommendation and appreciated that he waited until after our discussion to then ask for permission to bring in his "pitch kit" (my words, not his) - a large a rolling case with samples of the gutter materials/colors. He walked me through a couple of different options, the main being the size (traditional 4" vs larger 6" gutter, traditional vs oversize downspouts) and the mounting method (traditional nail/spike vs SnapLock). I had them write up a contract for the size/style/mount but advised that I wouldn't be signing yet as I had one more provider scheduled to come out. Not what any person in sales wants to hear at the end of a long sales pitch but Matt took it well and didn't go overboard in his attempts to close the sale that evening. It took me about another week to evaluate the competing options I had but ultimately the professional approach and SnapLock mounting approach led me to go with TruGuard. Note that they do charge a several hundred dollar premium for the SnapLock mounting - they were right in line with other providers on the traditional mounting approach. From the time I met Matt and signed the contract and gave a downpayment it was about 2 weeks until my scheduled installation. I wasn't onsite to observe the installation but the project managers working on my job, Darryl and Travis, both did a good job of communicating and keeping me informed of where things were and any issues that came up. The install ended up occurring over a couple days... they ran into an issue with how the current gutters had been installed over metal flashing that required their crew to move a little slower pulling them down to avoid damaging the flashing and then their crews got caught up with a couple of emergency calls that delayed them from getting back as soon as they'd planned. As above, they did a great job keeping me informed and even offered to come out into the evening and on a Sunday but with no rain in the forecast I agreed to just wait a couple more days. We finally got some rain again and I'm happy to say that the gutters are working perfectly and they look great. The exterior window header looks great too and we don't see any signs of it letting water through anymore. All things equal I had a great experience with TruGuard and wouldn't hesitate to engage them again or to recommend them.
