Please consider using someone else.. this provider cannot be trusted to perform the services she describes.

Had about 40 wood blinds that had never been cleaned (blinds 15 years old).Got two estimates and went with The Blind Ladies. They came out as scheduled and took down all of the blinds and carried to their shop and promised to have them returned the evening of the same day. Because they are wood blinds they had to be hand cleaned. 

They returned the blinds the same day and re-installed them -- although it was quite late due to the number of blinds. We are very please with the results, especially considering they had never been cleaned and had dust build-up.

The pricing was exactly as quoted on the phone and they honored the Angie's discount as noted.

Judy promptly returned my call.  Our appointment was scheduled, they were on time and a pleasure to work with.

My son is coming home from Afghanistan next week.  I wanted to get the blinds replaced before he gets here.  The blinds are up, they are lovely and I have a few days to spare!  Good job!  I highly recommend The Blind Ladies.

Better than new. I recently bought a new Levolor blind with the intention of replacing all the blinds in my house. After being disappointed with the quality I decided to have my blinds cleaned. I have been in the house 11 years and this is the first time they were cleaned. Jeff came by in the morning and took the 10 blinds down, and Judy came by the same afternoon and put them all back in place. I couldn't believe the difference. They looked as good as new. It was worth savings the old blinds. Jeff and Judy did a great job.

Jeff was personable and easy to work with. We are getting ready to sell our house, so these repairs were needed but didn't need to be perfect. He worked with us to make the most economical fixes, without having to go through the hassle of ordering new slats, etc. He also showed us how to re-affix some valances that had broken off so that we didn't have to order new clips. Very user-friendly and he was generous in the price he charged us. Thank you for your quick service and helping us to keep our costs low!

I contacted 3 different Angies List companies for this project, and The Blind Ladies was the lowest quote of the three (but barely - they were all within $250). Jeff was my contact throughout, but after I placed the order and sent in my check for the 50% deposit, I did not hear from him. I was warned that the order would take 6-9 weeks, so I tried to wait patiently until that time frame had passed. I would have preferred a confirmation of some sort that my check had been received (I kept checking my account online to see if the check had been cashed), as well as an update or two about when to expect the order to come in. I didn't get any of that. I finally called, several times, and was told the order was on time, they were expecting it at the end of the week, etc. I kept having to follow up with phone calls - at least 2-3 times. The installation went great. Jeff was pleasant, personable and efficient. He was kind and affectionate with my dog (a very old lab). He removed the blinds from the master closet and put them up for me in the garage at no extra charge, which I really appreciated. If this company provided an email address and communicated better, I would've given them an A.

From the very first phone call I I made to them inquiring about their services and prices, they were professional, responsive, gave a very accurate over the phone estimate. They arrived on the job about 20 minutes early, introduced themselves and got right to work. They were very respectful of the fact that I was working from home that day so made every attempt to keep quiet. Now, my windows, sills, screens, and plantation shutters look like they did when I built the house. I definitely would recommend Judy and Jerry and have let all my co-workers know of the great experience I had with The Blind Ladies.

Great to work with. Jeff and Judy are very honest, professional, did a great job and charged a fair rate for their services. We did have a mix up which was my fault and I missed our appointment. But they were understanding and came out the next day. I needed the blinds cleaned ASAP due to renters moving in. They worked with me and got the job done. I highly recommend them. WARNING!.......There is a company out there in Charlotte-land that gave me an estimate which was TWICE what I paid. I've had work done before and knew that they were asking WAY TOO MUCH for the job.

I am very pleased with the service I received and will use them again. They came out at 8:00am, removed the blinds, cleaned them at their location, and reinstalled them at 4:30pm. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Responded very promptly to our request. Came out for measurements and collected deposit ($160) on March 5th. Overall price was fair. Estimated 3 weeks for delivery. Called us the next day and said they needed to come back out because the manufacturer required a template(came back out and measured again...no problems). Its been over 9 weeks and the only conversations I've had with them are the ones I initiated. I've heard "out of town", "delivery problem", "delivered to another location". The most recent update was the week of April 26th (that I initiated) and that we will should have our blind May 5th. May 9th and I've initiated another follow-up because there was no contact and we still don't have the blind. The biggest issue I have is not the delay, but the lack of communication. The ONLY communication that has occured as a result of my prompting.

I have used Blind Ladies before, and because I had such a good experience I called them again. I am very satisfied with my new plantation shutters and the entire experience. Judy and her husband are both friendly and professional, and they work well together as a team. We will definitely call them again when we need additional blinds.

They were very quick to respond to my first call, everything happened just as they said it would and it was easy. They came to my house, so, I never had to go to them.

Jeff and Judy are a pleasure to work with. Jeff came to my home, measured for blinds and gave me a reasonable estimate for the merchandise and installation. About 3 weeks later, the blinds arrived and Jeff came to my home and installed them. Jeff was kind enough to accomodate my work schedule and meet after 5pm - I really appreciate that kind of flexibility and customer focus! The blinds look great and I could not be happier.

Excellent. Judy came out as schedulded to measure windows to provide an estimate. Very friendly and took the time to show what window treatments would work out the best for the overall room. Took about 10 days or so for the order to come in and Jeff installed them the day they arrived. I could not have asked for a better experience. Top notch job from start to finish.

They are the nicest people you could meet. They came right out. When they finished it was like I had brand new blinds.

I had The Blind Ladies install plantation shutters on the front of our home when we moved into our house in 2004. I was impressed by them, so I called them again when we wanted to replace our dusty, faux wood blinds on the back of the house with cellular shades. Judy came out quickly, and provided me with an estimate. She moved through the house with lightning speed, measuring each window accurately and showing me my options for each room. I took her advice on the type of "room darkening" shades to get for our bedroom, as well as the type of transparency to get for our shades in our family room. I had independently priced the shades through a home improvement store and Judy's estimate, which included installation, came in lower than my own pricing. Judy ordered our shades and her husband came as soon as they arrived to install them. Just as on his first visit, he had the shades installed quickly, professionally and easily. They look great and work wonderfully!

What an awesome service! I cannot do this work myself and have such great results and no hassle for me. They did a great job and I will use them again.
