Several days after this repair the engine light came on again. After several days it turned off and has not come on since.

As always everything was fine.I have used smith for twelve years now. I find them knowledgeable,dependable and customer orientated.They have proven themselves upright and honest over and over.Not a lot of fluff like a new car dealer, but you don't have pay for it either.

Courteous, prompt and responsive. We took our Jeep Liberty in for an oil change as well as checking what the engine light, that came on about a week earlier, meant. Since we are new to the neighborhood, we had asked a HVAC tech (who we found through Angie's List) to recommend an auto shop and he suggested Smith's based on its service record for the HVAC fleet. Glad he did! We will be going back for our regular vehicle service and maintenance.

We have used Smith auto for all our auto maintenance needs for eleven years.They are absolutely honest and dependable.In all these years I can only remember once they did not get right the first time.They made it right the second time, with no additional charge.We even find there tire prices very competitive, also they will be aligned and balanced properly. Unlike the awful experience we had with Tire Kingdom.You will not get all the fluff a dealer sells but you pay less for excellent maintenance . As you can see we are sold on Smith Automotive.

I made an appointment with Smith's for the alignment.  It was performed on time and to the price quoted.

They use quality parts, and they won't talk you into items that you don't need. They are really a good company to deal with.

Smith's Automotive Service is more reasonably priced when compared to others. Smith’s is the only company in our area that is on the list of a public radio company. They have a body shop too. They have been around for years and have got a good reputation. It’s a family-run business and they have owned it for 40 years. They are very responsive. I had once taken my car there at the eleventh hour and they had taken it in right away as it was urgent for me.

I went in there to speak with one of the owners, David Smith, about servicing my Toyota. He knew I was there, and the girl said he was busy with something else. I just wanted a few moments of his time, so I was happy to wait for a few minutes. I stayed to speak with him, and saw him walk past me multiple times without acknowledging me. He knew I was there and I literally waited for more than two hours. I was there to give him my business, and he ignored me for more than two hours. No one is that busy, and he did not even give me the courtesy of acknowledging my presence. I had used them once in the past and everything turned out fine then, but after being blatantly ignored for hours, I would never use them again.

Did a great job. A head of schedule. Very polite on the phone and in person. They called to let me know they had picked up my car and would be at the new place in 30 minutes (which is how much time I requested so I could meet them). Used a flat bed wrecker which so much better.

Well I had found the place from a car accident my husband had, and the car was towed to EZ smith's body shop on Stallings road about a mile from the mechanic. They were so nice there I asked about a good mechanic. EZ referred me to his son, David off Matthews mint hill road. Mom Nancy works there too. This is a very good family business with honest workers. I have had my car inspected and some other things done there in the last two months since finding them. I would refer anyone there. They get very busy, so an appointment is recommended, but the waiting room is very comfortable with TV, radio, magazines and friendly smiles.

I THOUGHT I WOULD NEED SOME NEW BRAKE PADS, THEY SAID THEY WERE FINE. IF YOU DON'T NEED SOMETHING THEY DON'T TRY TO SELL TO YOU , THEY ARE HONEST. THEY ARE ORGANIZED.

GREAT FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS. HAVE HAD AUTOS REPAIRED HERE FOR 15 YEARS. HAVE COMPLETE CONFIDENCE IN THEIR HONESTY.

THEY ARE EXTREMELY HONEST AND GREAT TO WORK WITH. THEY ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. I HAVE USED THEM FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS, SINCE IVE LIVED IN CHARLOTTE, AND THEY ALWAYS DO THE WORK RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. THEY ARE GREAT FOR MECHANICAL WORK, AND IF IT IS SOMETHING THEY ARE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THEY DO NOT CHARGE AND THEY TELL YOU EXACTLY WHO TO SEE ABOUT THE PROBLEM. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE.
