This project went off perfectly. We looked at several companies to come in and fix issues caused by our pool contractor. We really like Don, the salesperson and he was very upfront about everything and gave us some really good ideas. Don even came out a second time to go over everything with my wife to make sure it was what she wanted. They had a tough job because of the pool contractor and subs spreading extra gravel all around the yard, leaving concrete in the yard, and destroying various parts of the yard. The work included laying a pallet of sod, bringing in new dirt, soil, shrubs, and mulch. They also laid some pavers for me to have a grill area. Communication was perfect leading up to the job and Don was always very responsive. When they arrived, they were efficient, courteous, and did an excellent job. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of their employees. They were a breath of fresh air from what I have experienced the past few months. Here is the biggest item for me. When the guys from SecureTurf completed the job, they left the place better than they found it. They cleaned up everything and even did a little extra that was completely unnecessary. They blew off the entire driveway, walkways, and didn't leave a speck of trash. This to me says everything you need to know about a company and how they operate. PRIDE! It is hard to find these days but this company obviously takes Pride in what they do. Great job and I would highly recommend.

I have had them for 11 years. What I like first is the quality of my lawn is there. When they are out, they inspect it and they let me know things that I should be doing, such as watering or other things that I can control. My lawn has been improving over that period of time, so I have stayed with them. If I have a problem and I call them, they send somebody out and look at it, and apply whatever needed to be done for taking care of it. They have their scheduling. If I call them for a problem, they are out the next day.

I've been pleased with those people. When I interviewed different ones to put in the landscaping they were top notch and  I have been happy with them.

They were fine. They were just expensive. We would probably not use them again because we cannot afford it.

Secure turf arrived early afternoon and sprayed the yard.  They left a notice of service on the front door.
We have used Secure Turf for several years now and our yard has never looked better.  They come out about seven times a year to apply various fertilizer, fungicides and grub control products and whatever else is going on with our yard. They are very responsive and provide helpful hints whenever they apply product.  We have been very satisfied with their services.  We would highly recommend their services.

We worked with Jamie and he was the absolute best!  He provided guidance on the design and the BEST customer service I have ever received.  The quality of the work was top notch as well.  The final product is amazing; I would recommend Jamie and Secure Turf to anyone needing landscaping/hardscaping services.

Secure Turf was ver professional. Aside from a communication glitch when one of the office staff went on vacation, everything went smoothly. Don was very knowledgeable. He knew exactly how to correct my water issues and recommended appropriate plants and trees for my needs. My neighbors have all been very complimentary of the job they did. I will be using them for lawn maintenance starting this fall.

During the summer season of 2012 they controlled lawn weeds.  The yard was killed off and in the late Auigust it had aeration and seeding along with all needed feeding that winter.  I renewed the annual contract and the summer of 2013 the yard looked good and dark green.  Weed control and necessary grass maintenance was performed and aeration and seeding again this year and I am looking forward to spring of next year.  I plan to sign up again for next year as my wife likes the look of both our front and back yards.
The initial aeration was scheduled for early Oct., which I paid for in January 2013.  They worked with me and completed the aeration and seeding in early September.  October would have been a problem because of a couple trees that fall their leave in mid and late September.

I was happy with their service, but I felt like it went downhill and they weren't very responsive.  We ended up terminating the service.  They come here seven times a year.  They advertise that they're locally based, and that they know the soil levels.  I thought, they have a pretty standard product.  They came out, and did the same thing to everybody's yard.  I'm not sure if I got any specialized service.  Their price wasn't the cheapest, and wasn't the most expensive. 

I had my lawn in the spring this year sodded by another company and then Secure Turf took over the fertilization and signed up for 5-6 basic treatments and things like treating for fungus was going to be extra per treatment.   2013 has been one of the rainy seasons on record in Charlotte and all lawns in Charlotte and especially my neighborhood look incredibly green and healthy.   Except for my yard.   Secure Turf treated my lawn and when I returned home from an extended vacation I notice lots of dead patches in my lawn.  I called Secure Turf and David finally came out and admitted they had an angry employee that was trying to damage Secure Turf by not exactly doing much and stopping the growth of fungus at an early stage.   David promised to make it right so they come out to fertilized and put fungus treatment down and guess what; they charged me for the fungus treatment.  I called Secure Turf and they removed the charge.   My lawn continues to get worse and frankly almost all of it is dead and the only chance to bringing it back to life is seeding and aeration in the fall.   To David's credit, he promise he would do what needed to be done but it would take a year or two to get my lawn back to the $3800 I spent in the spring.  I told him that if the lawn in the spring wasn't back to somewhat normal, would Secure Turf pay for new sodding and he frankly said no.  My lawn as of 8-5-2013 is almost 90% dead and brown and embarassing since almost all lawns in Charlotte look incredible.
To make matters worse, Secure Turf came out and we reviewed some hedges I needed to be shaped up and trimmed.   Donald, the tree guy at Secure Turf met with me and took pictures of everything that needed to be trimmed.  I asked him if he would be on site when they were trimming and he said no but don't worry, he had pictures that would be attached to my work order and everything would be OK.  Famous last words from Secure Turf!   My housekeeper called me because the Secure Turf guys were at my house and asked her what brushed and trees needed trimming.   She called me and by the time I finally could leave my office they managed to get home they honestly trimmed everything I didn't want trimmed and didn't trimmed much of what I needed trimmed.  Also I had a tree near my back sunroom that was going over my roof an we agreed they would just top it off to the gutters; when I got home today that tree is less than 3 feet tall and looks just aweful.
David from Secure Turf calls me today and told me that they could never live up to my expectations and he was drpping me as a client.  He told me he was extremely upset because I put a sign in my front yard indicating that Secure Turf was responsible for my dead lawn.  That put him over the edge.  What David doesn't realize is that Secure Turf put their own advertising sign in my yard the other day which I certainly couldn't understand since if you are a lawn and landscaping company and the yard is 90% dead, I wouldn't advertise that.   Anyhow, bottom line there is a huge communciation problem within the ranks of leadership to front line worker in the Secure Turf organization.   There is obviously no follow through on work done in the field. I now have a 90% dead lawn, a beautiful tree that is murdered down to 3 feet, other brushes I didn't want trimmed and lot of brushes still needing trimming and David has the nerve to tell me he isn't servicing my lawn anymore and will refund my money.   I'm not sure this is the type of company that you would want  taking care of your lawn but you can decide for yourself by reading this.   When a company such as Secure Turf admits fault but gets angry over a sign and the truth and basically gives up, then, I believe, you might want to consider another service that truly cares for their clients and can admit fault, take constructive remarks and doesn't give up.  There are way too many excellent landscaping and lawn companies in Charlotte to use instead of Secure Turf.
