First time writing a review and used this company without incident for 2 years. However, first time I had a problem with a 2 year old unit they sent a tech out 3 times in a week without diagnosing or repairing the issue (in late June). Finally, the 4th tech diagnosed the problem - possibly a broken condenstion coil - and told me it would be 7-10 days before the part could be replaced. . . So 4 weeks without AC working for more than a day or two per week. Then the company refused to send out a field manager to assess the unit until another tech came out to "service" the unit. The management proceeded to terminate my service agreement after numerous heated phone calls - where admittedly I wasnt always polite because they kept telling me they wouldn't send anyone out until I had the cleaning. TLDR: Good company when things are going fine but if you have an issue dont expect any help.

MTB Mechanical is a lousy company. They installed 2 high end Lennox systems including an expensive zone system. As I recall, my builder told me the cost was $24K for these two systems. Needless to say, MTB Mechanical failed to register the units with Lennox. after they were installed. Both Evaporator coils failed at the same time. The units are only 6 years old! The Evaporator Coils in both of these units were involved in a class action suit against Lennox, the MFG. Unfortunately they both failed outside the opt in period of the MFG Class Action Lawsuit. Because MTB did't register these units with the Manufacturer the 10 year MFG warranty is not going to be honored. Thanks MTB you are a great company!!! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My brother in law also had issues with his Lennox units just after a year that were sold and installed by MTB. MTB wouldn't ever come out to check on their work without stating they were going to charge what my brother in law thought was an unreasonable amount to review their work. My advice stay away from this company since they obviously don't believe in customer service after the sale. Their is no conceivable reason that they could give me why they didn't warranty register my units with the MFG. *****Update: 5/14/20 Chris from MTB called me this morning to address my negative Google review and request my removal of my Google review. I declined. Chris states that: "MTB has multiple procedures in place to notify homeowners of registration requirements within the 60 day time limit." Chris states MTB mails out a letter by regular mail requesting the customer to warranty register the unit that they sell you. I never received this letter. However If this business was focused customer service they would take the time to warranty register the product they sell you. Car Dealers, Boat Dealers, RV Dealers, Motorcycle Dealers and Lawn and Garden Equipment dealers all warranty register the products that they sell with the Manufacturer. It is just plain ole good customer service to register a product you sold to a customer with the manufacturer. I know the reason MTB didn't warranty register the my HVAC units with the manufacturer. The answer is simply is so they can sell more new equipment and blame the MFG for the lack of warranty that they caused by not properly registering the units. Lastly, Chris states they he may have been able to get Lennox to honor the warranty if I had notified him of the issue. I seriously doubt Lennox would budge on them honoring the warranty. The reputable HVAC company that I use called Lennox and was turned down on a warranty claim request. Lets face the facts: Bottom line is Lennox would have honored my warranty claim if MTB Mechanical had done the right thing and register their customers units. Because they didn't I had to spend a couple of thousand dollars unnecessarily. MTB is definitely "Not Customer Service Oriented" If they were they would gladly register the units for their customers instead of using the "out of warranty gotcha" with the purpose of profiting more on the repairs.

I have been very pleased with MTB and will continue as a loyal customer. Though my technician was not able to get out to repair my AC until 9:00 pm on a Friday night, I received several phone calls from your office updating his arrival. Thank you for this level of respect. But most importantly, my technician, Ian, was the best thing about the service. He was well-mannered, respectful, and quite informative. His attitude (even at 9:00 pm on a Friday night) was remarkable - professional, informative, and friendly. He also talked very highly of MTB - indicating to me that I was with the right company! I will always go first to MTB; especially if you have people like Ian as employees.What an ambassador for MTB!

The HVAC unit that was installed in our new home (by a different contractor, not MTB) was an absolute mess & undersized for our square footage. MTB was able to assess the situation, confirm our mile-high laundry list of inspection findings, and put together a detailed plan to address all the issues. We were fortunate to have Joseph and his crew perform our service. They were punctual, polite, & courteous (which was nice, as both my husband & I work from home). You can tell that Joseph loves what he does & cares about getting the job done RIGHT. I would absolutely recommend MTB to anyone.

excellent. i have used MTB for over three years on a new home. MTB installed the HVAC when it was built in 2015. They are very thorough and professional and always provide me with useful tips on how to use and maintain my system. the cost is approx $375 year for quarterly service including tune ups for AC and for Heating before the season begins and after it ends.

My original appointment was not for another week or so but I was called today and asked if you can come today...I thought that was great. Your tech, Juan was great...professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.

Nothing but high praise for MTB Mechanical! Nearing the sale of our home, I needed to replace one of our A/C units so I began quoting and comparing about 5 different companies for the job. LT Baker was the Systems Design rep that came to quote the job at my home. LT was very professional and very knowledgeable and took extra time to explain my options and teach me about the unit options and setup. I had questioned some info competitors had told me regarding my line set. LT came out a second time, took pictures, and sent them to me so I could make an educated decision. Trust me, when you line up 5 different companies to quote a job, you will be amazed how the cream rises to the top! It was LT's knowledge, honesty, and integrity that truly separated him from the pack. MTB was also very competitively priced so choosing to go with them was a no brainer. On the day of the install, the 2 installers were also incredible. They took care in protecting our carpet while hauling in and taking out equipment. Just another sign that I had made a great choice. To top it off, towards the end of the install, a manager came by with LT to make sure that everything was going well and thanked me for the business. This wasn't a big job by any means (only 1 unit) so I was very impressed that he took the time to come by. I would give MTB a 10 in all regards. If someone is reading this review, I would highly recommend they give MTB a call.....and ask for LT Baker! Thanks guys!

Brian was prompt, polite and professional and reviewed all aspects of the service he completed on our three zone system and humidifier. It is always a reassuring experience to be treated as a valuable client by the folks at MTB.

I recently had two outside air conditioners and two matching gas heating furnaces replaced in my home on late October. The install crew was Kevin, Ryan, Joseph, and Chris. They arrived on time, were all extremely professional and courteous, they went to great lengths to protect my carpet and stairwell to ensure that going in and out of my house and going upstairs caused no mud, damage, or dirt within my house. I was impressed with each of the four individuals. Once they arrived here they got busy immediately. Each of them immediately sprung into action and started working on different tasks and completing each task quickly and efficiently. The work they did together as a team was also most impressive. Once they completed the installation, they cleaned up absolutely everything; from the pieces of the units they replaced and had to remove from the attic as well as the old outside units. They picked up every little piece and debris that were around. The carpet protectors they placed on my carpeted stairwell and on my living area floors to protect it from damage was removed when they finished making sure to keep every little piece of dirt within the protectors, keeping my house absolutely clean. I really was impressed in every aspect of the job and frankly, I’m not usually easily impressed. The team is certainly an asset to the company and represented the company extremely well. I would also be remiss if I did not mention that Brandy in the office was extremely helpful with paperwork, installation appointments, and handling my rebates. Additionally, LT, the representative who came out to survey my home and provide the quote, was the only was the only one of the four companies I received quotes from, who took the time to count air vents, check the airflow in all the vents, verify the square footage and even double checked the ductwork in the attic to make sure he would quote the perfect systems needed for my home. LT was equally impressive courteous and professional, and did not try to pressure me for the sale, making me feel comfortable. I am super pleased with each and every aspect of there interaction and service from making the appointment for a quote, the quote process, the install process. I would heartily recommend this organization to both friends, and enemies! During the installation as well as after the installation I easily concluded I had chosen the right company and the right team.

We replaced our aged furnace and AC with much higher efficiency units. Jay was great in laying out the options and guiding us to the solution that would offer the best return on investment. Brandi was great with managing the paperwork and filing for rebates from Duke and PNG. Most importantly, Kevin, Steven and Ryan did an outstanding installation such that all went smoothly, no damage or surprises, perfect cleanup and we were hardly aware of their presence. They went out of their way to make it an easy and timely installation for us. Fabulous work in all respects!

I chose MTB Mechanical after getting estimates from four companies overall. I am extremely happy I went with them. I was able to see the estimator, Ken, almost immediately after I called; he was professional, friendly, and explained things very carefully. He responded immediately to all my questions over the phone and email; I ended up going with a more expensive system than he recommended, which is worth noting for two reasons: he both helped me weigh the pros/cons of both, and he NEVER did the hard sell. He told me he wanted me to get the best value for my money, and I really believe that. Once I signed with MTB, their office was professional and responsive in getting everything set up, including my rebate from Duke and inspections from the county (thank you, Brandy!) Today, Kevin and Steven came to install everything and I cannot say enough about what a good job they did. They called to let me know they were on the way, arrived promptly, set up plastic and tarps to protect my carpet and hardwood floors, and cleaned up after they were done. They were friendly, professional, and answered all my questions. They were so unobtrusive I forgot they were here at one point! They also pointed out a small ding in my wall they were worried they had done -- I had done it, but I was impressed at the honesty. Kevin walked me through the new system and I know I can call MTB if I have additional questions. MTB also had the best financing options of the companies I looked at -- I did zero percent for 12 months. I am very happy with my experience and look forward to working with them in future.

Jose was outstanding in every way. He was here to perform quarterly maintenance on the PTac unit in our bird room. Afterward we asked him to look at one of our home HVAC that had water running from it. He was thorough and professional. He explained everything he was doing, making certain we understood and agreed. We have been MTB customers for years and have always been pleased. Our experience today was above and beyond any before. You have an excellent technician in Jose.

Overcharged for install. I asked for an itemized invoice. They refused. They over charge and are not accountable.

Our technician was Manny and he was very professional and thorough in his maintenance check on our central air unit. Answered all of my questions and gave us reassurance that the unit was in great condition.

Matt has been great! He takes the time to explain everything that's going on with our very old system, and has found some creative ways to keep it running like new. The folks in the office have been very helpful and very personable.

Derrick did an excellent job servicing our systems. He also provided suggestions to us on the better way to protect against the dust generated by our in progress remodeling project! MTB technicians are very knowledgeable so we have a yearly maintenance contract.

We are beyond pleased with our new Lennox ac unit. The team were by far professionals and were very polite. They demonstrated efficiency and skills. I would like to personally thank Jay for all the recommendations and presenting all options that were best for us. THANK YOU!!!

I have had nothing but outstanding service from your Staff. Everyone I have dealt with from your Company have been very professional. We have been with you for 12 years, and the last few years Matt Hancock has been our service Tech. He has done a great job keeping our system going. He bends over backwards to make sure we are satisfied.
