Monny with Matthews Appliance is a pro! He is the best (and actually the ONLY) Washer & Dryer Repair Specialist in the Charlotte area. When he came to fix my dryer, he arrived at the exact time he said he would and was friendly to deal with. It is evident that he is excellent at what he does. I wouldn't call any other (general) appliance company for my washer/dryer needs now that I know there is a specialist in town! I've heard of his reputation and am excited to share this with the neighborhood! I used to live in Johnstown, PA where we only had 1 specialist in the whole region, so finding one is rare.

They came out one day to assess, ordered the new part and it was repaired within 24hrs. Very professional, quick, and clean. They walked me through what they were doing, what happened, and why. They were quick and efficient.

Washing machine was making very loud noises when heavy loads we being washed. Determined the the machine was breaking down and let us know that it would be more expensive to fix than the product was worth. Provided valuable recommendations on washing machines that would meet our needs and what to look for in a washing machine. Also took a look at our dryer and let us know it was in good shape.

They arrived promptly on time, where very professional. Got to work immediately and had my washing machine diagnosed and fixed in no time at all. They left everything clean. which is a big plus in my book. Very reasonably priced and they give you a warranty on their repair work. I highly recommend them. They are definitely, my go-to repair place for my washers and dryers. I give them an A+!

The team texted me they would be at my house in one hour. They texted me to let me know they were there. They had the expertise and parts to fix My machine on the spot. They had a flat fee they charged and guarantee their work for one year.

The team from Matthews Appliance were prompt (even earlier than expected) and clearly set the expectation for how long the job would take. They were extremely knowledgeable about the brand of dryer and quickly found what was causing the problem. The original repair company who replaced the dryer motor had jammed it into place and broken the connector-causing the new motor to fail. The dryer had been put back together missing several screws and had not been properly cleaned out. The Matthews Appliance team fixed the issues, cleaned the dryer out, and even checked the output as part of their service. They specialize in washers and dryers so they really know about the products they are working on. They showed me the work they were doing every step of the way so I was confident in the quality.

I ended up buying a new washer machine.

Best appliance repair experience ever. Spoke to Monny on a holiday and he was out before Noon the next day. Stocks large amount of parts on his truck to ensure job is completed quickly and efficiently. Pricing is very fair and much cheaper than replacement.

Monny was able to repair the dryer and explain how the washer was damaged beyond repair by the seller.

Very friendly on the phone and had repair woman here within a couple of hours. She looked in the usual places but had to go deeper. Leak was found but one of only a few parts not on the truck so it was ordered. We were called later that day to say part would be in the next day and the would call before coming over. Called the next morning, she came and changed problem piece. Presented with the bill my husband asked about senior discount and Bill was promptly discounted with a friendly smile. VERY happy with whole experience.

When my 10 year old dryer suddenly stopped working I needed help quickly. I chose Matthews because of the great reviews and because they only fix washer and dryers. When I called we first tried to troubleshoot the problem over the phone but when it was determined a trip was needed it was easily arranged around my scheduled. Everything went smoothly the morning of the appointment. They were on time and very professional and very thorough. Unfortunately, my dryer had a rare problem and could not be repaired economically. When it came time to pay we were shocked when they did not charge us anything. We would recommend this company without hesitation and use them again if we should ever need their service.
