+ -1 moreFirst Marcelo added freon and an oily dye to determine if there was a leak in the compressor. The problem persisted for a week so I took my car back. The dye revealed a leak in the compressor so he installed a new one. The AC has been working well ever since.
Description of Work: The air conditioner in my car was working intermittently since last summer. The dealership was unable to determine the problem.

+ -1 moreI am soooo glad I checked Marcelo's. The place is very clean. I sat in the waiting area, he has Wifi so I used my table, had some coffee and I ordered dominoes but my car was ready before the pizza arrived so I had to actually wait for the pizza to leave. Repair was perfect, I took the car for a test on gibble road and indeed the engine was not "weak" anymore. (he replaced the spark plugs and wires). I will be definitely going back and recommending him again and again.
Description of Work: I heard about Marcelo from a neighbor. Marcelo is really Charlotte's secret repair shop that you hear about from word of mouth. My kia's engine was Losing power. At the dealership they quoted me a very high price saying I needed to replace the whole engine. No way in heaven I could afford that and they said it will take 3 days for the repair. the 3 days was not the problem, the money was...I could not afford a new engine! So I went to Marcelo's and within 20 minutes of testing the car, he quoted me a muuuuuch better price than my own car's dealership! He said it was the spark plugs.

+ 1 morehe advised me on repair options and saved me a ton of money by only repairing the compressor instead of replacing the whole cooling system as was suggested by another repair shop. Marcelo was very honest and explained the issue in details. he actually gave a free lesson in car AC systems. so to make good things short, he replaced the AC compressor and the AC worked wonderfully, it is really "COOL" thank you marcello, I will be recommending to my friends.
Description of Work: since my car is not expensive, I did not want to go to the dealership and pay a fortune. so I went to Marcelo's. He is a very nice person.

This time around, I had to get the transmission replaced in my Nissan Maxima. He patiently explained all the options and helped me decide what would work best for my family and budget. He's got his client's best interests at heart- that's what I love about Marcelo and why I will never go anywhere else.
Description of Work: I've had several cars serviced by Marcelo. Every service he has given me a true and fair estimate, and has gone out of his way to make sure it was done right. I don't have to worry that he's trying to sell me something I really don't need, and I know I can trust him to let me know what needs immediate attention.
