ITC Millworks sold us the interior doors for our new home. The specifications required solid wood, 6 panel doors for the complete interior of the house. After a few months, we noticed the doors were coming apart and separating. It was then learned that the doors were actually cardboard pressed onto solid wood. It was the cardboard separating. After our trim carpenter tried to repair the problem, the primer started flaking off. Our painter described the doors as crap. Each time the painters tried to repair a door, the repair would not last and too often the repairs made the problem worse. Our painter is one of the best in the area, Bill Scarth. We also ordered brushed nickel hardware with the doors. Some of the door arrived with brass hardware and despite being returned to David Brady, to date the company has not exchanged them for the correct brushed nickel ones. The doors were ordered for Baldwin door handles and arrived set up for Schlage. ITC Millworks and their salesman, David Brady, will not stand by there warranty. When BBB was contacted, ITC Millworks told BBB not to bother or contact them again. David Brady claims ITC Millworks is a member of the BBB, but they are not. Neither ITC Millworks or David Brady are truthful and misrepresented their product. The doors are junk.
