DOMESTIC MECHANICAL

Mark and Keith came and installed two vents and one return vent in a unfinished attic room that we finished.  We also added a laundry room which Mark installed an exhaust vent that vented out of the roof.  They did a great job and the cost was very much what I expected.  I have had Mark Harris the owner of Domestic Mechanical take care of all of our HVAC needs for the last 20 years.

I called Mark Harris to help with our upstairs furnace, no heat. He came and, the flue for the 90% efficient gas furnace was not installed correctly and caused it to shut off as a safety feature. The pan under the unit was undersized and there was also a leak from condensation from the heating process. Mark had a new pan fabricated and installed it, he corrected the leak of water, he also fixed a gas leak that the installer of the furnace left. As always Mark did a great job. This furnace was installed by the previous owner of the house.

Mr. Harris responded quickly.  after diagnosing the problem, he made necessary repairs with parts on his vehicle.  very pleasant to work with.  no high pressure tactics and very reasonable priced.  a gentleman in an industry of price gougers.  knowledgable. 

Went fantastic!!  They were able to remove the old and replace the unit in one day.  A second day was needed for the electrician to do the required connections.  Mark then came back and got the furnace ready for the inspection by the county inspector.  It took much less time than we thought and went very smooth.  I think this is the best HVAC company in the city of Charlotte!!

Fantastic! The A/C was giving us trouble starting on a Friday. Mr. Harris came out, looked it over and said we may need to replace the unit soon. The A/C stopped working Saturday night. Mr. Harris was at our house Tuesday morning; work was done before 12:00.

Things went very well. Mark arrived on time and did a thorough checkup as requested. He clearly explained the condition of the system and the possible problems and options I may face in the future as the system ages.

The furnace is holding up great. I am very pleased with the work that was done here by Domestic. They are a very good company and are great at what they do. The two men were very intelligent and worked very well together. I have no problems at this item. Actually, I have not had any problems since they installed the furnace.

We were very happy that the gentleman found this kind of problem and had it repaired before we put the home up for sale. We wanted the home to be perfect. He was very professional. He had a lot of knowledge in this field. He answered all of our questions and explained a lot of things that we did not already know. The price was not that bad at all. We did not really shop around since we already were using this company. We would recommend this company to any one.

They seemed to have a good work ethic. My contractor hired them but I was comfortable with them and their ability. They did a good job. It is all working good. They did a nice job of cleaning up as they went along.

In addition to having them do work at my home, I also use this company to do work for my small business. They are always on time. They even call me ahead to tell me what to do prior to their arrival and give great advice about what we should do.

Where do I start? It was a bad experience from the start. The only good things about them was their price and they were on time to do the work. The quality of the work on the renovations was terrible. There were blotched paint spots on the walls and the flooring was not done right. We are still running into minor repairs. The deck came out ok but we ended up having to put new water seal on it as well. We were not at all pleased with this experience.

Mark was nice to come out to my house on a Saturday to fix my unit. Great guy, very friendly and honest, and even changed my filter at no charge.

THIS GUY KNOWS HIS HVAC AND WAS ABLE TO DIAGNOSE MY ISSUE BY PHONE (AFTER SEVERAL OF THE BIG COMPANIES HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT). HE CAME ON TIME AND CAME BACK THE FOLLOWING DAY TO COMPLETE THE JOB WITH PARTS. I WILL USE HIM AGAIN. HE SEEMS HONEST AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

EXCELLENT - HE DID THE WORK IN PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND AT 1/2 THE PRICE FROM SOMEONE TRYING ''DO ME A FAVOR''. MARK ALSO FOUND AND FIXED OTHER MINOR DUCT ISSUES AT NO CHARGE. HE TOOK THE TIME TO GIVE ROUGH ESTIMATES OF OTHER WORK THAT COULD BE ACCOMPLISHED IN A COST EFFECTIVE MANNER. I WILL HAVE BACK.

FANTASTIC, HE TRIED TO DO OTHER $$ SAVING THINGS, BUT THEY DID NOT WORK AND THEN HE GAVE A VERY FAIR PRICE FOR THE WORK DONE. VERY CLEAN, CLEANED UP AFTER THE JOB, WAS VERY WILLING TO MAKE US VERY HAPPY. I DON'T PLAN TO USE ANY OTHER COMPANY, THEY HAVE DONE OTHER WORK FOR US IN THE PAST AND WE WERE PLEASED AS BEFORE.

MR. HARRIS WAS A FONT OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE A/C HEATING UNITS, AS WELL AS HELPING WITH A WATER PROBLEM UNDER OUR HOUSE. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!
