We gathered many quotes from different providers for blinds and shutters for our home. We needed shutters for our sunroom which has six large windows and blinds for two other windows in our house. We were impressed with the product quality of the Barefoot products. Derrick was very helpful in explaining the products and options. He also followed up a few problems we had with the product and they were resolved quickly. We ended up ordering additional shutters from them due to the excellent product quality and customer service.

In summary, this was one of the best vendor experiences we have ever had.  The pricing - especially on the closet work was well below our experience in reviewing prices with two other vendors (and from two previous experiences in other homes with other vendors).  And, the quality of the workmanship and level of service and responsiveness puts Barefoot in a class all by themselves.  Most importantly, Barefoot listened to our requirements, then came with a design that matched precisely the need and the request. 
The pricing on the window treatments was in line with what we found elsewhere, but again the detailed focus and especially their ability to listen  to what my wife wanted made all the difference. 
We are 100% satisfied with the materials, the workmanship, the sales and service experience.  We would be happy to serve as a reference for both parts of their business at any time.  My wife is especially critical of most of our service providers and she is the first one to say that this was likely our best experience in our 30+ years together covering 7 different homes in three parts of the country.

They came out when they said they would. The order took just as long as they said it would and when they came out to install them, it was done in a timely manner. They were installed well and we have had no problems with them in nearly 18 months.

The company estimate were spot-on. The customer service was excellent. And above all, the workmanship was first class. The arrived on time to provide the estimate. On the date of service, the workman was professional. Share tips on what had happened and how to avoid the same problem in the future with closet installations.

After dealing with this for over a year and having several Barefoot employees unsuccessfully "fix" the problem including one "no show," we finally had our door replaced on 12/5/14. Unfortunately, the transom above the door was the incorrect color so we are still waiting for that to be replaced. Argh. We are also still missing two screens from a master bath window that were supposedly ordered a few months ago. Have yet to see those. It's truly difficult to say where the problems begin and end between Toll Brothers (plenty of stories about them too) and Barefoot. However, I have personally dealt with Barefoot several times over the phone to try to get the work completed on my own and it was to little or no avail until recently. Based on this experience, I would not use this company going forward.

Barefoot is a subcontractor to our builder Bonterra. Barefoot did the initial installation of all of the blinds we ordered when we bought our house. In the end, we counted wrong and missed 3 windows. Barefoot came out and installed the 3 missing blinds for substantially less than what we paid our builder up front - so lesson learned. Installer did a great job and was very professional.

Team was very professional, responsive and prompt. Unlike other companies that provided me with estimates, they weren't pushy and seemed more practical in their approach of making suggestions and ideas for what would work best for my home. Work was completed in a couple of days and looks great!

The ycame gave me prices and ideas for several closet remodels, and then performed all of the work wonderfully!

We've got a few reputable companies including a big box store to price out the project. Dick's is not the lowest but very reasonable. Most importantly, we chose him for his professionalism, attention to details, and willingness to work with customers to meet all their needs. He was also extremely responsive and courteous.
The door went in smoothly and looks beautiful. Dick was there from start to finish. He made sure all things were cleaned up and personally patched up two holes in the brickwork.
One year later, a seam under the threshold was discovered as ants were coming into the house through it. I called Dick and he showed up the next day to inspect. He got his team back the day after and took care of the problem. Now, that's called customer service! I am very glad that I didn't go with the big box store as I could hardly imagine how long it would take to report an issue and get their subcontractors to stop by. I would highly recommend Barefoot. They stand behind their work.

everything went well. the closets look great. The only negative would be responsiveness to phone calls. Other than that the product looks great and reasonable price.

Was told I would get quote by Monday, on Wednesday I had to call to get quote. When door came in they called to arrange an appointment for a Wednesday. The installer showed up on Tuesday. Their communication skills need improvement.

Derek Manning is who we worked with and he gave us an estimate which was the best of three companies. He was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We needed shutters for 13 windows and he made sure the job was done right and didn't charge us until it was complete. The shutters look great and we were pleased with the whole process, from estimate to final installation.

Excellent experience. My wife said the sales people were easy to work with, showed her a number of options, helped her pick a pattern for the shower door and the right colors and designs for the mirror frames. The two man crew arrived exactly as scheduled, asked a few questions to confirm which mirror went in which room, to confirm we did not want to keep the old mirrors, to explain the different methods of mounting the mirrors, and to confirm the exact location of the new shower door, as previous holes would be exposed and somewhat visible, although filled. They were done in two hours, left everything clean, and were pleasant.

We were looking for three mirrors to complete a bathroom remodelling project. We had decided we wanted bevelled edge mirrors and looked on the internet for local suppliers. We contacted Barefoot and went to their showroom where we saw exactly what we wanted at a reasonable price. A few days later after the countertop was installed Laura Barefoot come to get the exact measurements for the glass and gave us a final quote including installation. The three mirrors wee installed a few days later and we are very happy with them.

Not much to tell. The job was on time and installation was excellent. The product was beyond expectation. I had hired them before and would continue to look to them in the future.

Great service and response. I called Barefoot for estimate. Salesman, Tom, came out to measure and emailed me a quote within 48 hours. We changed our mind on original color and they were able to accommodate change. They came to remove old shower enclosure, Tom came back to make sure new enclosure would fit without any modifications. Three business days later they came back to install new shower enclosure. There was confusion on my end regarding the morning installation time, but they called me back same day because they had an afternoon cancellation and they were able to complete the job same day after all. Everything looks great and as we wanted. We have not used it yet since it was just installed today. As long as it doesn't leak this will remain an A+ report!!
