We called Austin's out to service 2 malfunctioning heat pumps.  One was able to be repaired but the other needed to be replaced.  We have a 3rd unit that they serviced since they were onsite just to make sure all was well with it.  The install went smoothly and professionally and both units are working great. Steve also added 2 additional vents to make the units more efficient.  Very pleased with the work performed.  We have used Austin's in the past and will definitely call them again if we are needing service in the future. 

They were on time, reliable, on the ball and they looked for things that were wrong and fixed it. They were all that I would ask the service person to do. They made sure everything was working perfectly. They charged exactly what they said they would and there was no extra cost. They had a good service and I could recommend them to anyone.

He showed up on time and started to work immediately. He determined that my A/C unit had frozen up. He cleaned it and gave me several ideas on how to keep it from freezing up again. He spent a lot of time making sure the unit was very clean and I knew what needed to be done!! I highly recommend this company. They are honest and trustworthy and do a great job.

Steve came out and did a walk thru with me to understand the scope of the work i wanted done.
He checked my existing equipment and took measurements and gave me some suggestions on how he could accomplish the goals i had.
When he sent the estimate , it was complete, although more than i could afford at the time.
I emailed him and asked for a revised estimate on just some of the work and when he sent it back i was pleased with the estimate and booked the work.

They came out on the scheduled day and worked until they were finished.
They did connections between my wood furnace and the air handler, also did return air ductwork, and added supply lines from
the main trunk line.

They did a professional job, very neat and tidy
all the work was done to my satisfaction and has preformed well since they did the work

They are excellent. They do not do anything that does not need to be done. And if they see something that needs to be done in the future, they tell me when it needs to be done and I schedule an appointment and they come here and do it.

Steve Austin came out right on schedule the same day we called in for service. He was professional and efficient, identified the problem, and fixed it! We recommend him highly and will use his service again in the future.

He was prompt and does everything by himself from start to finish. He is trustworthy and efficient. He has decent prices.

This company had installed the propane heating system in the home we purchased in 2006. We have had them out several times to do routine service on the furnace. They are prompt, charge fairly, and we have had no problems with the service they provided.

We were happy with their service. Everything was great. We were very happy with everything.

We moved into this house from out of state one year ago. Saw that the heat/ac system in this well-built home was installed by Austin's and for lack of convincing information on Angie's List about other providers, contacted them. We opted for the "Silver" club membership service plan: $16.95/month for one heating-cooling system, which includes fall and spring service (and filters). If something breaks, they will come and diagnose it for just under $20.00 and discount needed repairs 20%. The service man, Matthew Austin, informed me (news to me) that the air conditioners are covered by a 10-year warranty and the air handler by a lifetime warranty. Because we have two systems, we pay about $30/month for both, with a discount for the second system. Mr. Austin was very professional, polite and personable, arrived on time, seemed to thoroughly know his stuff, gave me a needed education on efficiently operating the system (which will save on our energy bills), and even put paper booties on his shoes before entering the house. The business is family owned and operated, so they have a direct stake in keeping customers happy. They service Buncombe, Madison and Yancey counties.
