Clearly this gentleman did not have the expertise or stability in building a home for us in the area. He did not recommend architectural services and it appeared he was going to build our home based on his ability with pencil sketches. Too much religious/recovering conversation included during the discussion time and explaining the turnover of his former lifestyle. He seemed compelled to interject his life change at every aspect of the construction project during our interview. If someone is willing to give this recovering individual a chance, they may be more sympathetic.

I choose Johnny Thomason Construction to do this project because I have used them several times in the past and have been satisfied with the end result every time. In fact, his company built my business building ten years ago and after ten years I haven't had any problems related to his work. Then, as now, he has been very professional and very responsive to anything I asked about. Recently his company rebuilt the deck at my home and later replaced the kitchen floor that was damaged by a water leak under the floor. This was done in the time frame he gave me and for the price that he originally quoted me. He even adjusted his work schedule so that we would have use of the kitchen as much as possible so as not to inconvenience us. I have contracted with him to replace the shingles on my house and outbuildings in two months. I am very satisfied with his work and would not hesitate to recommend Johnny Thomason Construction for anything from building a home to remodeling to putting in better windows (which he did at our home in 2004). I would add that the old adage - "You get what you pay for," fits here. If you are looking for the cheapest builder to work with then Johnny is not your person. If you place quality number one and are willing to pay more for the peace of mind that comes with work expertly done then he is someone to consider. Not that he is outrageously expensive but that he charges a fair price for the level of quality work that he does. Finally, Johnny and his brother are Christians who follow Christian standards and principles in their work as well as their lives. They are honest, dependable, and trustworthy. Much of their business comes from previous customers. I think that speaks well of the work they do.
