BYE BYE ROOF STAINS

Needed about half of my roof cleaned due to blue-green algae streaks. Ernie quoted a reasonable price without even visiting; he used Google maps and worked off the satellite photos of the roof. Had to delay several times due to weather, but he was prompt on the first good day. Cleaning went smoothly. He cleaned a few small areas that were not included in his original quote after he saw the roof up close. Results were instantaneous. Even the darkest densely stained section looked like new after he finished and it has only gotten brighter after a couple of good rains. Although he cleaned up afterwards, the next day I found dried over-spray of the chemical solution on several plants, the back deck/stairs and the front door. I immediately rinsed those areas because the chemical mix is harmful to plants and it will bleach bare wood. I did end up with some minor bleach spotting on the outdoor steps and slight damage to the plants. He also ran off the driveway and made ruts with his truck and trailer. Although he repaired the initial damage himself, as he was leaving he caused more damage that I had to repair. It was a steep driveway with a curve. Ernie is very personable and knowledgeable and I would recommend him for any roof cleaning job. He does not use a pressure washer, but does have a trailer custom-built with all the chemicals, hoses, compressors and accessories to do the work.
