Stephens Heating and Air

Called Stephens due to an AC system that was frozen up. Steve initially stated that it was probably low on Freon and to turn the system off and leave the fan running so the system would thaw out and he would be there within the hour. Approximately one hour later (give or take 5 minutes) Steve showed up and after checking the system found that it indeed had a low charge. He recharged the system with 1.5 pounds of R22 refrigerant and within minutes the system was up and running at peak performance. I had the pleasure of using Stephens Heating and Air on several occasions during my tenure as an apartment property manager in the Raleigh, NC area . Steve responded to calls in the blazing North Carolina summer heat, the cold of winter and the pouring rain. He has repaired and/or replaced everything from Schrader valves to entire systems. He is always punctual, professional and his work is second to none. He will diagnose the problem and then discuss repair options with the client before doing any work. I highly recommend him for your heating and air conditioning needs.

I have been using Stephens Heating and Air for my yearly inspection of my A/C in the spring and furnace in the fall. They call/scheduled ahead of time, showed up when they said they would, offered a detailed analysis, including a break down of cost (labor/parts), to any current and or potential future problems identified. This past year Stephens Heating and Air identified and showed me with a volt-meter several weak capacitors (barely operating within the manufacturers recommended guidelines). They would have potentially failed under the stress of the hot summer. I now have my house, my parents home, my elderly neighbor home, and my girlfriends home under Stephens Heating and Air inspection plan. The inspection plan has Stephens Heating and Air coming out and inspecting the furnace in the fall and A/C in the spring and any common equipment/parts both times.
