The electrician on the job was Thomas with Mike as a helper. Thomas was very professional by finding and explaining problem. The problem was repaired satisfactory. I had further work measured for an estimate and thought they were a little to high in pricing this. I decided to have another electrician to do this work. Burgess also was slow in responding with the estimate.

Was on time, very polite, & careful. Installation of new unit was probably more difficult than either he or I expected, but the new unit worked immediately. He was at my house for 2 hours. I think the charge was somewhat "pricey" for 2 hours work, but I may be unfamiliar with the prevailing rates for this type of work. Overall, quite satisfied with outcome.

My experience with Burgess was very good. Initially, it took several days to get a return phone call to schedule the appointment, but the appointment was scheduled within a reasonable period of time (about one week). The electricians arrived on the early side of the ETA. They reviewed the work I wished to have done and made suggestions about alternatives such as adding a combination phone jack/cable outlet. They repaired a hand-made light fixture that I thought would have to be abandoned. They worked to the prioritized work list, very efficiently. They tested every piece of work that they could (my computer was off and they did not attempt to turn it on). Despite drilling into wood baseboards, every work area was clean. Having had them do work in my house before, I could leave the electricians with a key and go to work. They wrote a note summarizing the work (perfect English!) and called me - twice - to tell me when they left and where to find the key. GREAT work!

DID THE ELECTRICAL WORK FOR A RENOVATION OF A HOME BUILT IN 1936. HAD A GREAT DEAL OF NON-CODE ELECTRICAL WIRING, THEY MADE EXCELLENT RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT WHAT AND HOW TO ADDRESS OTHER PROBLEMS IN THE HOUSE. HELPED ME CHOOSE CEILING FANS.
