Rick came out to do an evaluation of our home the day I called the office. I contacted them in the morning & Rick was at our house by lunchtime. He took the time to walk the house, listen to our concerns & explain the whole process & how the system would work. We had a quote that afternoon & set up an appointment for the install the next morning. Our system was installed a week later.
The installer arrived on time & brought all the tools & parts needed to complete the job. He walked thru the install & then the system w/us, making sure we understood what the system would do & what we needed to do to make sure it worked properly. All of our questions were answered & we have contact numbers for any questions or concerns we may have in the future.
The woman that answers the phone at the office was very friendly & made sure to verify our appointment date & time after our email exchange. Overall it was one of the best experiences we've had with a service provider of any kind. Great job Diamond Electronics!!!

.We used Diamond Electronics to install a security system in a 2nd home we own in Charlotte and were very happy with their work and professionalism. (See earlier review) We live in Greenville, SC and when the insurance company said we had to have an alarm system, we looked at companies here in town but weren't really excited about any. I suggested we call Diamond to see if there was any chance they could do our house here in Greenville, or offer a reference for some company. To our delight, they agreed to come and my husband discussed on the phone with Erik Britton, who coordinated it all, our needs and got a quote. Kevin, who put our system in at the Charlotte house and who we requested, came prepared to install either a wireless or a system using parts of an old system. He arrived right on time and after examining the setup, we went with a wireless system. Kevin got it installed really quickly and was very knowledgable and great to work with. The company is helpful, professional and we really appreciate their willingness to come to Greenville. I highly recommend them. On our recommendation, our son in Charlotte used them when they moved into a new house last summer and were very happy with them, too.

We contracted with Diamond to provide an alarm system for Photographic Elegance in Charlotte NC.
They provided a quote upon inspection of the property. They scheduled an install date. They arrived promptly and
installed as requested. Everything went as planned. Have had the service for 3 years with no problems.

They were up front about all fees and their "no contract" policy. They did exactly what they promised. The service includes remote arming/disarming via cell phone. We are now paying a fraction of what we were paying our previous contract service and getting better monitoring.

This was an absolute best-case scenario for us. The initial visit was detailed and the recommendations for a security package were exactly suited to our needs. Even though there were several hardware and monitoring upgrades available, we were never pressured or hard-sold into making them. They listened to what we wanted, showed us what they could offer, and were fast, professional and cost effective at getting everything installed and running.

We live out of town but had bought a 2nd home in Charlotte. We wanted to upgrade the security system where we could monitor and control it by smart phone. I found Diamond on Angie's List and my husband contacted them. They met to see what needed to be done and the work was scheduled. They were helpful at scheduling it when my husband could come and be there. My husband was very pleased with the whole transaction. It was very professionally done and we are very happy with the system. We are also using their monitoring system. In addition, they installed three flat screen TV's on the walls which made my husband very happy! That looks great, too, and my son who is planning to move soon, plans to use Diamond, also, particularly to put up TV's on his walls!

We had Diamond come out to set up and "take over" the very old security alarm system that had been installed in the home we just purchased. From the first phone call with Diamond, I was treated with professionalism and a friendly attitude. The technician who performed the service was excellent and spent a lot of time at our property making sure that the old system could be made to work properly and that everything was set up an working correctly. We look forward to doing business with Diamond for years to come.

Diamond Electronics responded quickly for a technician to provide an analysis and estimate. Upon approving the estimate, a technician made the installation in a timely fashion. He was on time, cleaned up behind himself, and stayed with the estimate as a final cost. Very pleased with this vendor.

I was not happy with my existing alarm system in the house and asked Rick to take a look and make recommendations. He looked through my existing set up and showed me where the previous install was essentially crap (exposed wires, inefficient zone settings, etc) and helped me understand what it needed to be. During his walk through, Rick listened to my needs and asked some good questions (do you need to.....) to help gauge my "want v. need". There were no high pressure sales, he talked through lots of things I could add on, but said if that isn't what you are looking for, then this is what you need (while trying to reuse as much existing equipment that he could to also help save money. He even showed me what his office had set up, how they used cameras and why zones were set up a certain way. The install date came and was a non-event. The technician was on time, very curteous and did not leave until he made sure I understood everything I needed to about the alarm, the online site as well as the iPad application. I would use Diamond Electronics again and highly recommend this company, it is like working with family (the good side).

Rick came out to do an assessment a week before. He noted that what the home had was pretty good it just missing smoke detectors that are part of the system and needed to be "re-booted".
A technician came out the following week to perform all the work. He called me each time something was needed that was beyond what was noted in the estimate.
Overall, I feel like you get what you pay for and despite the myriad "free system" offers out there, I feel comfortable paying these guys for equipment and work that they do and for a reasonably priced monitoring system (complete with web, smartphone access).

Our alarm system was installed by diamond electironics and was subsequently knocked out of commission during a lightning storm. Diamond came out and tested the entire system and replaced part that had been impacted by the surge. They even gave me a monitoring credit for the time that our system was down.

The owner was very responsive and the system is easy to use. After setting it off once by accident I got to see that the response time was extremely quick. Also the thing was so loud I don't see how anyone could stand it long enough to rob me at all.
The only negative was that my box didn't get screwed in correctly so the owner had to send a screw by mail but because the screw doesn't fit I have to figure out another way. Also the guy installing seemed new and not good iat explining how to use the box. He was very nice though. But the box was simple so I figured it out.
Overall I would reccomment this company to anyone because the were timely and professional no matter what my question or concern was.

I contacted Rick for an estimate, he came out to look the house over on 4/14. He adivised that he liked to start people out with a simple system if they have not had a security system in the past. This is my first security system and I appreciated this approach. I told him what my concerns were and he addressed each area with the system he quoted. Rick and Kevin installed the system right before I moved into the house so it was ready to go from day one. I also asked them if they could run a network line and a couple of speaker lines in my living room. Kevin came back and ran these lines the week I moved into the house. Rick and his team were great to work with and the times that I have accidently set the alarm off the call center has been very understanding and patient.

The whole process went very smoothly. We were not home when the installation was done, but afterwards, we were pleased to see that they had cleaned up nicely and left no evidence of even being there, except of course that we now had a security system installed. Since we had no phones in the new house yet, we couldn't be connected immediately. But as soon as our phones were turned on, Diamond Electronics came right back out to the house the next day to connect us and then thoroughly explain the system.

We contacted 4 different companies & rec'd quotes from each. The prices ranged from $850 to $2300. Diamond Electronics was not the lowest but they were close. We spoke with Rick, who was the first to return the call, and knowing that we needed a system now he promptly scheduled a trip to our office the next day. Not only did it take some of the "bigger companies" a couple of days to get back with us but when they did it was another couple of days before they could come to our office. Once we decided to go with Diamond they were able to do the install within 3 days. They did run into a couple of surprises, (adding another panel & a smoke alarm), but they gave those to us at cost. Kevin performed the install and was very pleasant and professional installing and showing us how it worked. The system is up and running and as expected we hit a couple of minor bumps which were more our fault than theirs but the staff was quick to fix the issue. We are a company that employs over 20,000 nationwide and fortunately can afford to go with the company of our choice. We feel confident that the staff at Diamond will give us the security any other company could and give us the personal attention we deserve so we are not just another payment coming in once a month. We dealt with Rick, Kevin and Teresa at Diamond and would without hesitation recommend them to any one looking for a security company.

Theresa answered my call and was very friendly and professional. The work was scheduled for the next day. Theresa called in the morning to let me know approximately what time the service technician would be here. Kevin, the technician, also called me when he as about 15 minutes away. He was professional, courteous, and efficient. He diagnosed the problem quickly, told me what needed to be done to fix it, and then did so. He was in and out in about 45 minutes. I was surprised at how quickly and cheaply they fixed the problem. I am delighted with the service I received from Theresa and Kevin!

We had ADT at our old house and thought we would use them again, but they didn't return our calls. I came on Angies List to see what other options there were and realized that the big companies actually had poor ratings and were franchised (this was unknown to me). Diamond Electronics were highly rated so I gave them a call. The reviews were accurate. Rick came out the day after I called. I told him what I wanted, he pointed out how that would probably be more than I could afford (we are on a tight budget because we have two houses right now) and offered another option. They also gave us a great deal on installation because we entered into a three year monitoring contract. When we cancelled ADT we found out we also had a 3 year contract but they never told us that and we paid a lot more for installation. Diamond Electronics tells you everything up front, they are easy to deal with, they have a better price and MUCH better service. I'm so glad that there are other options than the big, franchised security services. They also install cameras, entertainment centers, etc. We had them work up some bids for other work so as we have the money they will be able to help us make some additional improvements to the house.
