We experienced water damage to the paint and drywall in several of the ceilings of our rooms earlier in the year. After trying to get estimates/work done by several other contractors we found Richie through Angie's List. They were booked a few weeks out at that time but showed up in advance of their estimate and completed their work in a very professional manner. They even corrected some sealing and overspray issues from the original contractors on the house that were not part of the original estimate. I would highly recommend Richie and his guys for any painting and minor drywall work.

His estimate was well below what we had planned for so we hired him. He was really helpful in suggesting ways to solve problems that we envisioned in renovating that whole area. He encountered several problems that he resolved and did an excellent job. He gave a written quote and charged exactly what was quoted. In replacing the window and framing in an upstairs bathroom he was meticulous in his work and did more than I had expected to make sure the window was put in correctly. Finally he painted the trim and walls in the living area and two hallways plus the ceiling in the hallway. The trim was going from a dark stain to white. He spent the time to put on primer, at least three coats of paint on the trim and doors. He painted the living area with both primer where he had fixed the dry board and two coats of paint on all the walls. Each day he showed up within 10 minutes of the time he was scheduled and worked until the job was completed in his promised time frame. He did most of the work himself and watched the helper's work to make sure it met his standards. He went well beyond what was required, for example giving advice on paint selection and texture. He used only quality paints and primers which were included in his estimate. He was very patient when there were times of indecision. We plan to use his services again to install hardwood flooring within a couple of months.
