In the interest of time and money, we did a phone consult with me reading Paul Lail the information at our breaker box and describing various issues in the home. Having done this for many years, Mr. Lail was able to pinpoint the need for upgraded wiring from the City service transformer to our junction box and probably beyond. He gave us a formula for figuring out how much power we could draw from any of our existing circuits - safely. He eased our minds that nothing was about to burst into flame or quit altogether. Although this company no longer does major residential wiring renovation, Mr. Lail provided 2 other local references for us to call when we are able to go forward with a whole house wire upgrade.
Description of Work: Our 100 yr old house has electrical issues. It passes all inspections and meets code, but everything flickers. We needed a master electrician to evaluate our whole system and make recommendations.
