This went very well.  Persons showed up on time, and kept me informed as to the progress, as the job was complicated by the presence of the underground drainage pipe.  Ground out both stumps, and uncovered the pipe as I had requested, as I am planning to have the old terracotta pipe replaced.  Because I am having the troublesome pipe replaced they took much care to remove the large root system covering the area.  The removed the resulting roots, mulch, and smoothed out the area.  Limb removal was scheduled for the afternoon.

Mine was a small job and there is a lot of demand for their services so I had to wait a while, but it was worth the wait. They arrived with 6 guys, two trucks (one with a bucket), a tractor and a chipper. Two guys climbed trees and the others worked on the ground, with ropes and saws. The foreman gave little direction. Everyone knew his job and when to do it. The price was fair and the workers were pleasant. They were gone in an hour and a half. I was (am) delighted.

I had had all the limbs--which grew over the carport--removed the year before by a different company. Wasn't totally satisfied with them, so I got bids from several other companies on Angie's List this time. Carolina had good reviews and gave me a very reasonable price. Plus the estimate was given very promptly. It did take a long time for them to actually come and do the job, because there was a bad storm in the area, and they got swamped with work. I just kept calling to check when they would come (the office was always cooperative, and apologetic about the delay)...when they did come, they did the work in a reasonable amount of time, and hauled all debris away. Would use them again.

We have three residential properties and have used Carolina Tree for years, with excellent results. We call on Carolina Tree to take care of problem limbs and trees at least every 18 months, or sooner if a storm hits the area. They are always responsive, prompt, and reliable.
As was in this particular case, Carolina Tree is especially terrific when you have a tight space for tree removal or extremely large trees. Two large dead trees were removed on either side of a newly purchased property under renovation. Additionally, Carolina tree trimmed back an badly over-grown hedge on the property line fence..
Their cost was quite reasonable, and their team cleaned up every leaf and twig, and disposed of the debris beautifully.

This 50 ft. tree was right next to a fence and 30 ft. from my house. I called Carolina Tree Service after finding them in the yellow pages. Within a couple of days the owner, Mr. Gaddy, came out to look at it. He gave me an estimate on the spot and took the time to explain what he believed caused the tree to die, and what they were going to do when they cut it down. They provided me with a written quote, called me to let me know when they were coming and showed up within an hour of the time they estimated. They had a crew of about 7-8 people and all the equipment they would need, including a front-end loader, a chipper, and a stump grinder. They did all the work promised and did everything they could to protect my property. They were courteous and respectful. They left the yard as they found it. It only took them about 3 hours to complete all of the work. I was impressed and would use them again if needed.

Went very well. They did a wonderful job. Everyone worked together and really knew what they were doing. Very professional.Finished the job in one day. They had all the equipment here on the job. Dump truck to haul away the logs, big truck with the bucket on it. The stump grinder. One guy was in the top of the tree with ropes and pullies and the other was in the bucket. My neighbors fence was right beside the trees and they were very careful not to damage it. I couldn't have chosen a better company for this job.The ground crew picked up the limbs as soon as they fell and put them in the chipper/ shredder to keep the area uncluttered and safe.Very pleased.

We spent $3847 for their services. I thought they did a good job. We did have some problems getting them out here. We had talked to them several weeks ago trying to get them out here and they gave us a quote, but it took weeks trying to get them to come out here. When they finally came out here, it was okay. The only problem I had with them was that they came out to our neighbor's house prior to them coming out to our house since our neighbor's backyard backs up into our backyard. So, they had like three trees taken down. In the process of them taking one of the trees down, it actually hit a part of our trampoline and messed the trampoline up. They never reported it to their boss and they kind of took off. So, we called them back and we had already tried to get them out here before. We finally got a gentleman to come out and I think he is the one who owns the business. He came out and talked to us and we finally made a deal with them. However, they did a good job when they got out here and I had no problems. It was kind of frustrating that we couldn't get them out here. They did exactly what we had agreed upon once they got here and everything was good. We had a couple of people come out here and give us quotes that were slightly cheaper, but the price charged by Carolina Tree Service was somewhat reasonable. We had trees that were going over our house and it was really making us nervous. So, we had no problems with them in bringing them down. Their responsiveness was not good at all. I wasn't really happy with their punctuality. I would possibly use their services again, but I would be hesitant since I worry that they wouldn't call me back.

THEY CLEANED UP REALLY WELL AFTER THEMSELVES AND THEY SEEMED TO REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, THEY WERE ALSO VERY EASY TO CONTACT AND WERE ALSO REALLY PROMPT.

THEY ARE LIKE ANY OTHER TREE SERVICE COMPANY. THEY DID ARRIVE ON TIME AND WORKED QUICKLY TO GET THE TREES CUT DOWN. THEY DID WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO.
