Inspected condo prior to purchase. Would not go into attic, but did go into crawl space. I specifically asked him to check the joists, due to dip in floor. He stated the joists looked good,. After closing, I had a contractor crawl to see what may be causing the dip in the floor. He took pictures of cracked and broked wood in floor supports stating this did not just happen. I hired a structural engineer, who stated the same thing...this has been like this for a while.
After contacting Swicegood, he stated it must have happened during any remodeling I was doing. Remodeling does not break floor supports.
I would never recommend this inspector!
