Fantastic. We really enjoyed working with Monty and Nancy. You can tell by their work and approach to our questions and concerns that they have been in the construction business a very long time.  They have a wealth of knowledge and experience with remodeling homes. Their crews were also professional and a joy to work with. I will definitely use them again.

Words cannot express how pleased we were with the entire renovation experience.  From the initial consultation to the final punch list, AHIS provided us with workmen who were totally competent and ever ready to please.  Work crews were here every day and managed to make what could have been weeks of inconvenience  a totally bearable experience.  Great care was taken to protect the rest of the house, and every day before leaving the work areas were cleaned and returned to usable condition.  Any questions or concerns we may have had, and there were many, were always well received and answered in a way that made us understand what was being done and why.  We could not more highly recommend them to anyone looking to have any sort of work done on their home.  Gerry Moore

They performed the job in pretty much the timeframe that they said they would finish it in. They were also very accommodating with some of the special requests we had. We asked for a slightly more expensive spout/shower head with a variable flow and they did not charge us extra for it. They also added extra supports for us to install a curved shower rod and did not even blink when we asked them to do this. Overall we had no complaints at all about their service or price. We would gladly recommend them and are very pleased with the quality of the job.

They listen and help you work to the right design for you, are flexible in that they want to please the customer, they work a bit on the slow side but are exacting and precise, they are pleasant and respectful of the home and its occupants, they performed the contract as written and didn't go too far beyond the expected completion date. Sounds great? It was, all up until we were presented with a big bill for extras, none of which had been written up as change orders as required by the contract, and the prices for which were never discussed. In addition to the contract we had notified them in writing of our requirement to be able to approve or deny any proposed extras in advance. We were furious! We recommend if you use this firm, you closely monitor then to ensure they don't do the same to you.
