Absolutely the best service that we have received in a long time. Alex takes pride in his business and it shows. He was punctual, gave excellent communications, diagnosed and repaired the problem and went over and above to give the highest level of customer service. To top it off, his pricing was excellent. He readily beat the other company that we contacted in every category.

Alex arrived to the minute of our scheduled appointment. I was anticipating the need for a new garage door opener, but he checked it out and said the motor on the old one was good, it just needed a new part (wheel), which saved me about $200. He was the most professional contractor we have ever had do work for us. He is very courteous, nice and extremely detailed at his job. He gave the garage door rails the attention they needed as well. With a response received within less than two hours after the e-mail was sent, an appointment was arranged with owner Alex Malanka. Mr. Malanka arrived promptly as scheduled. In addition to listening to a description of the performance concerns with the garage door opener and garage door, he observed the operation of the door before performing a thorough lubrication and selective adjustment of the garage door opener to optimize the length of travel of the door and to minimize excess wear on the door opener mechanism. Mr. Malanka expertly explained each action he took so that in addition to seeing and hearing that the garage door opener and the garage door were operating much more quietly and effectively, he provided a base of knowledge as to the ongoing lubrication needs of the garage door to extend its useful life. Alex was beyond amazing. Submitted a request for my busted garage door spring at 4:00 pm. Alex called at 4:30. Showed up (in pouring rain) by 5:05. Fixed door by 5:40. Reused existing cable. Checked and lubricated other garage door. Taught me several things about maintaining my doors and what to look for when I do replace them. Affordable and smart. Need I say more?

Alex is a true pro. My doors were a mess and he somehow figured an ingenious way to use parts from both of them to make one good working door.

Alex was very professional, courteous, and very prompt at replacing the garage door opener. I felt the 60 dollar fee was well worth the diagnosis of my replaced door opener and the tune up of my other garage door along with his quality workmanship. However I felt the price of the garage door opener replacement was about 75 dollars higher then three other companies I called later for estimates.

Alex called before I finished looking at the other businesses. This was a Saturday and he was at my house in less than 30 mins. He replaced the springs and was done in an hour. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Will not have to use Angie’s list again for garage door problems because I have found my go to guy.

Alex responded via phone before I had finished my Angie's List request. He showed up within the next 30 minutes and finished the job within 1.5 hours. In addition to replacing the broken spring he also recommended replacing the unbroken spring due to its age. He also inspected and replaced the cable bearings, greased the hinges, balanced the door and repaired the unworking opener door switch. All this while being very friendly and explaining why he was doing what he was doing. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

It went very well. Alex showed up promptly, assessed the situation with my old garage door opener and installed a new one. He explained the features of the new opener and showed me how to operate it.
