They're always really good. They take their shoes off and put booties on, just very conscientious. They do an excellent job every time. We have been using them for years.

Being the owner of 4 vacation rentals, we need a company that is responsive and honest. I first called a very large heating & cooling company.  I asked how many employees they had and was told 60. I said no thank you, I want a small company to work with.  I scanned Angie's List for one and found Ken Sanders Heating & Cooling. Perfect size company with 3 technicians.  8 great reviews - that was for me.  
You may or may not have used companies that charge for diagnostics then pull out a binder with pre-set charges for "everything" they do. Problem with that is that it is very expensive. Often times a $400 charge for a $15 part and 30 minutes work.  I will never work with a company that pulls out a binder...EVER.
I called and was able to get an appointment first thing next morning for the two rentals with Aux. Mode - we went from one to the other.  Jeremy was on time at 8:30 AM. He diagnosed my compressor had a problem and it was not the problem the "other guy" said it was. His quote included the cost of the part and an estimate on the number of hours to repair.  Fair, honest along with description of the problem! He did not pull out a binder with pre-set, inflated pricing.
Then we drove to the other rental with same Aux. Mode problem.  We walked in, he saw the type of thermostat I had and said "let me make sure the programming is correct for this type of thermostat".  He checked the programming and found that it was programmed for propane operation and not electric.  It also had a couple of other programming errors.  Once he completed that - the unit performed perfectly.  How smart is that!  I was impressed - very impressed.

Jeremy was wonderful! He showed up on time, was as friendly as your favorite neighbour yet knowledgeable and professional. Our system is overly complicated for what is needed and he VERY QUICKLY, figured out what was working and what was not. I had some very specific questions for him regarding some moisture issues we were having inside the house and he was able to troubleshoot the system easily. I would not hesitate to recommend Ken Sanders Heating and Cooling to my friends and family. Finding dependable and skilled service technicians in our rural area can be a daunting task; we are so happy to have found someone we can count on for all our future needs. We will be signing up for their yearly maintenance program now that we have someone we can trust. Thank you!

I called on a Friday morning to say that the propane heat in our Heat pump system was not working. They initially told me they were booked and they could have someone come out next week. I explained that since temperatures were predicted to be unseasonably low that evening I was quite concerned about no heat in the house. The receptionist said she would check with someone and get back with me. It wasn't long until Jeremy called me and said he'd be there that afternoon. He was there at 3:00 and in minutes solved out problem. And even showed me how to solve it myself in the future if it were to happen again. And since he was there, I asked if he could install my WiFi Remote thermostat. I happened to purchase the wrong one so Jeremy said call me when you get the replacement and I'll come back. So, the next week he came out (right on time) and installed our new thermostat perfectly. Great Job and Great Service.

The two installers arrived at the time they promised and while here worked steadily, explaining that it would take about 4 days to complete the installation. It actually took only a total of three days. They worked steadily, taking only a break when we invited them to a cup of coffee. They explained throughout their time here many things about the heating system. I liked that they seemed to want us to enjoy our new system. After they duct work was installed, they performed a pressure test to make sure the duct work was properly taped without leaks. He took the necessary steps to obtain the proper permits and call for final inspection.

They were really honest. I felt like they only replaced the parts that needed to be replaced. They replaced the fan and the technician didn't turn the fan to the right setting so we weren't getting enough heat. The owner's son came out at no charge to fix it for us.

I own 8 apartments and the first time Jason came out he found out one of my units needed a little freon because the connections were hand tightened. It turned out I had a little extra supplies for him to use, so it saved me some money. The second time he came out, one of my other units went out and I called on Sunday and they said they would be out on Monday. My tenant was not available so we rescheduled for Wednesday. When he came out he found a few things that were wrong and addressed the problems. He also used my supplies again and unclogged a pipe and also found out that one of the parts needed to be replaced. He called to find out if the part was under warranty, which it was, so it saved me a lot of money for that part. I ended up signing a contract with them for my apartments, they charge me $50 per unit. He comes out twice a year for 4 of the units and once a year for the other 4 newer units. The next time he came out he found that one of my units was overcharged and was not cooling properly, so he took out the extra freon and credited me the difference. He also came out to install a new thermostat that a tenant failed to install correctly, so I called Jason up and he made the trip the same day and got everything running correctly. I was very happy he could get out there the same day. Not only is Jason an expert, but he really enjoys what he does. All of my systems are running great! I am very happy with them!

Ken's tech Jason arrived promptly, checked out the equipment and determined refrigerant was needed. He traveled to the company to obtain some (it cannot be carried for long periods in a truck in hot weather), and got the air conditioning running beautifully in no time.
