This man has done about 6 or 7 projects fro me and we get a little less happy each time. The gentleman's name is Paul Cox. He has done 3 or 4 big jobs here for about $20,000. He usually he takes a long time, I mean he can be here working for 2 or 3 months. The 2nd job, he was here for was in the basement and he was here for two months, maybe even more. So the last project was a walkway job, they was going to rip it out and repair it. This time for the first time it only lasted 2 days. I thought they were going to take 1.5 weeks. So on Thursday of last week, without saying he was coming; I hadn't talked to him in a week. I look out the window and I see him over there. I go over and see they are ripping out the walk. He and he's worker, sometimes he's son. Every other job he's done has taken weeks. So I anticipated that this would take atlas for or 4 days because I needed to lay a sewer line under that walk. The next day, Friday. I walked out there I see ten people swarming in; he doesn't have 10 people. I go over there and ask where Mr. Cox is and this guy says to me Mr. Cox will be back soon. I ask if they where going to put this walk in with a machine and the guy says "yes, today at noon," I was surprised. Anyway it turns out he had subcontracted the pouring of that walk to another company, whose name i've forgot. Mr. Cox was too busy and couldn't cover it. He never even remotely mentioned to me, not that I would have objected to it. He had poured most of the stuff before, he never subcontracted and didn't tell me he was going to subcontract. They did intact get it done. The problem is they didn't come till 2 o'clock, and I had some people running around here till like 8 in the evening. I have have even seem Mr. Cox again. I'm waiting to hear from him today, cause he's going to do some finish work for another project. Overall he is a very hard working man, and his work is exceptional. The walk was done in 2 days. and  I dont think the cement cost $3000, but the job he did before this in the basement, you could hardly pay any body to do it. I was in a basement, where you had to go wheelbarrow by wheelbarrow by wheelbarrow. I mean, that why it took him 3 months. So it was a hell of a lot of labour and I was $17000.

$75
He took $75 to tell us to call an engineer and wouldn't provide an estimate for his repair. Prior to coming out, he had told us that the $75 would be credited back when he did the work. We have received nothing for the $75.
