It went great. Was time to get my oil changed and filter so I chose them to do the task and they are very friendly and on top of things. I would highly recommend them for services on your vehicle.

Arrived at approximately 8:30 am to have the oil changed and tires rotated on my new 2012 Ford Fusion. The job was completed an hour later and the shop was not busy. I specified the type of oil to use. I inquired at the time if they had that particular oil in stock. I was told yes, but in fact I had to wait for oil to be delivered from the parts supplier. I was willing to overlook being lied to about the oil. Upon arriving back home I decided to wash my car. I opened the hood and discovered to my dismay the mechanic had written in some kind of grease pencil the type oil I specified all over the valve cover of my engine in addition to spilling oil all over the valve cover.
This is a brand new car and I was totally upset at the lack of care and professionalism of Haney's. I maintain a clean car and writing on my engine was the equivalent of scrawling the oil type into the hood of my car.
I called Haney's upon my discovery and the only excuse was this would help them in future visits. I asked what the service order was for? This practice is totally unacceptable to me. This is totally unprofessional and unnecessary.
The person I spoke to on the phone indicated she has had to remove this from other customers cars. I asked then why do you continue the practice if it upsets customers?
The bottom line is if you are not going to act in a responsible manner when running a business you don't deserve my business.
So far I have not been able to remove the writing.
Update:
I also discovered the mechanic rifled through my glove box I assume in an attempt to learn how to reset the cars oil monitor. The issue here is he left the glove box a mess. Again this points to the professionalism of the shop.

I had my car inspected to day at Haney's and I spoke with owner of business concerning the writing on the engine the type of oil used and he indicated to me that they have stopped that practice due to customer complaints. I will be taking my car there soon for an oil change and giving them another chance.

My family is new to the area, so when we moved to Laurinburg we asked our Realtor to share her recommendation on places to take our vehicles for an oil change, tire rotation, etc. Our Realtor told us about Haney's, where she said she takes all her family's vehicles to.
One afternoon, my car started making a squealing noise. I took it up to Haney's and shared with them my problem. They were booked up for the afternoon, but told me I could bring it in first thing the next morning and they would get right to it.
The next day, I took the car up there and waited around a few minutes so that they could determine what the problem was. While I waited, every employee greeted me at some point with a warm hello. The owner took a minute to ask me if I was being taken care of.
After verifying that my front brake pads were wearing out, they shared with me the total cost for labor and parts and asked if I wanted them to go ahead and replace them. Within an hour, they had my car ready and called to let me know I was good to go!
