Great service, this guy looks after his customers and cares about their wellbeing. If I need additional HVAC work in the future, he is first guy I will call.

Terrible. He also said he fixed the leak because the previous heating and air company had intentionally left the valve open so they could sell us more Freon (bogus). He also didn't know how to work the thermostats. After paying him $1000, the next day the heat was not working. He came back out and worked on them. Several days later, they weren't working again. We finally got another heating and air company to come out and they had to let freon out of the system. There was too much in there. They also said you can't just put freon in as Clay had done when it's so cold. You also have to run the units at high speed when instilling freon. In order to do that you have to know how to work the thermostat. The new vendor charged me $560 to fix what Lake Lure had messed up. I talked to the original vendor (Clay McCraw at Lake Lure Heating and Air) and he said he would give me some money back but he never has.

My heat pump went out. It is a 2 turn heat pump. The owner, Clay McCraw, came out. I explained my circumstances. I am disabled and on a very limited income. He is an amazing person. He fixed my furnace for free! There are few people that would take the time to do what he did. He spent hours and completely repaired my furnace. He is a true gentleman and I am so thankful for him!
