The price was extremely reasonable. He was much cheaper than the competition. Even though it seemed to be a very difficult job, they completed it and cleaned up in only 3 hours. I was amazed by how quickly they finished. They were extremely professional and punctual. I would absolutely use them again in the future and would recommend them to others without hesitation.

I called at 8:00 Am - Repairman was at my home before 10:00. Inspection of toilet revealed that water line into toilet wasleaking - not the wax seal !   Repairs were made by replacing value inside toilet- rubber seal had deteriorated due to age. Repairman was knowledgeable - courtesy & answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend this company  !Service call & parts : $100.00.   - Very reasonable price for services.

Very fast turnaround, professional and troubleshot, explained every step and explored ways to save me money.

I called on Thurs, given an appointment for the next Tues. but it was not an emergency as faucet did not leak when it was turned off.  Repair went fine and Joe is a very pleasant person.  He had the part for this faucet with him and fixed it on first visit.

I called An Affordable Plumber on a Saturday evening because I had no hot water.  Joe was at my house in just over an hour and completed the job quickly and professionally.  His price for the job was well within the range if not below for coming to repair a hot water heater on weekend evening.   I will call him for any future plumbing work we need.  Great job!!

We noticed our water heater leaking on the Friday before Memorial Day, so I called late morning and Joe called back within an hour and came that afternoon to check it out.  Our water heater was shot which we guessed, and he gave us the pros and cons of traditional vs. tankless water heaters.  He came out on the next Tuesday to install a tankless water heater in our crawl space.  He was punctual, professional and efficient and now we don't have to worry about water damage from the tank bursting in our attic!  Would definitely use him again.

Joe arrives at exact time, very professional on questions, quick finding the problem, and offered Angie's list discount even before I asked.  Did the work and at the same time, explained it to me clearly. appreciate that.  He cleaned and left no mess after he did the work.  Got a leak on dishwasher and asked him to check, he did the thorough check and DID NOT offer to fix it, explained clearly on the problem and recommendedme to replace with a new one, and he did not charge anything to check (involving open it up) it.  Very professional and will definitely call if there is any future plumbing problems (hopefully not much, but....)

Joe did a great job.  He was right on time and didn't have a problem accomodating my request for a Saturday appointment.  I called on Thursday afternoon and he came out Saturday morning.  Everything was explained clearly and I feel that he really went above and beyond.  I highly recommend An Affordable Plumber.

He came out and told me that the leak was coming from the washing machine.  He referred to me Angie's List to get ratings on appliance repair companies.  He was very good and found the problem quickly.

We've worked with some other larger plumbing companies in Raleigh before, and we were way overcharged.  We are so happy we found Joe.  He's true to his name, affordable.  He also does excellent work.  

These are some of the key reasons we will use Joe again and can highly recommend him:
He calls back the same day you leave a voice mail (as promised on his message).  Ours wasn't an emergency, but he does have a direct number for emergency issues.

• If you have him perform the services that you need taken care of, there is no service call.  Several other companies wanted to charge me between $65-$85 just for coming out to diagnose the problem.  Because I had Joe perform the work, I did not have an additional service call fee.
• The company is small, which I love. It's Joe and two other men.  They all three came out to assist with the install, and they were all great.  With the bigger companies, you never know who you are going to get.  
• I have three small children, Joe and his team made sure we weren't without a toilet for more than thirty minutes.  They had at least one up and running very quickly in case anyone needed to use the restroom.
• The men were quiet, cleaned up after themselves, and very nice.
• Joe also worked with us and explained how we can get rebates on the toilets.  He helped us with the paper work and explained what we needed to do.

Excellent! I was glad they were willing to do the job at their regular rate, even though it was after hours. Very professional, written estimate before any work was done, stayed at the price they quoted me and followed-up with me the next day, to make sure I was happy with their service. I saved about $500 and they did not have to do that for me.
