Platinum Painting built their reputation one house at a time. David Broadbent started Platinum Painting in 2003 as a one person operation. As his reputation for quality work grew, so did Platinum Painting. Today Platinum Painting employs multiple crews and offers interior and exterior painting, power washing, deck restoration, faux techniques and interior design service. Every job is special to Platinum Painting. Platinum Painting uses the best material, sealers and paint that fit within the customer's budget. The harsh coastal enviroment is tough on exteriors. Platinum Painting's goal is to use paint and stains that will not only look great, but will also stand up to the harsh conditions. They understand budgets and can help the homeowner make the right choices. Once the job is complete, Platinum Painting offers a maintenance program that will extend the life of the job. We chose Platinum to paint our home in Nags Head, NC. It was a fairly complex job, and involved old and damaged siding, plus many porches, eaves and gables. Weather is always a factor in OBX, and there was an immutable deadline to meet despite high winds and rains. Platinum worked closely with us to coordinate best painting “windows” and access to the property. Their crews were professional and amazingly hard working. Debbie was always available, and addressed any questions, and was meticulous. The project finished as needed, and the results were beautiful. Kudos to Platinum.

Platinum Painting is a very professional, knowledgeable and passionate company. They provided updates as the job progressed and always communicate any issues or concerns they find during job. Spoke with company on Monday and they set up an appointment for Tuesday at 10 am to provide estimate. No one showed up. Tried contacting the company Tuesday afternoon and left a voice message and again this morning. They are not answering the phone or returning my phone calls. Still no contact from company.

I truly apologize that my personal life flowed into the business. We pride ourselves in always communicating clearly and following through. I responded to the voicemail as soon as I was able to do so with an apology and explanation. I also called a second time leaving a voicemail apologizing and requesting an opportunity to make this right for customer. The nature of the situation did not allow me to follow through and I regret the frustration caused to the customer."

Dave and Debbie at Platinum are the best painting outfit on the beach. They are polite, responsive and their work is second to none. You can rely on them to give you exactly what you ask for (plus more), at a reasonable price in a very professional manner. We've used various painters over the years for off-season maintenance (and in-season emergency work) and no one comes close to Platinum. I hesitated to write this review, as I am tempted to keep them a secret; you'll be pleased with the result when you go with Platinum.

Platinum painting did an excellent job. The entire exterior of the house was power washed and painted and the deck was power washed and stained. We couldn't be happier with the entire process and the end result. Debbie was very communicative through the process and the work was completed within the timeframe that was given. They also replaced several boards that were rotten and replaced an exterior door. The premisis was left tidy at the end of each day and i was comfortable allowing access to our home when we weren't there to complete the door replacement and painting. I highly recommend Platinum Painting for any of your home painting projects.

Nice company to work with. Debbie Broadbent is a hands on business person. Too frequently a contractor you hire to do repairs/paint etc on your home turns the job over to a third party as soon as you hire them and you never see that person you hired again until it's time to pay. Debbie was attentive and available through out the project. Platinum painted my 10 year old, 3 story house constructed of Hardee Plank. Upon completion it looked brand new, now one year later it still looks brand new.

Quality of work was excellent and completed as agreed and within the timeframe that was committed. Owner was in constant communication as to progress. Was very comfortable granting access to the house when we weren't there to complete painting of the doors. Upon completion the house looks like new and all materials were removed and left like a new home. Highly recommend Debbie and Platinum Painting for any job big or small.

Dave and Deb Broadbent were professional, and they did a great job. They went above and beyond, as we had work done inside to our home prior to Platinum Painting coming in to do the outside. We were on dead line to finish right before the rental season began, Deb said she had no problem finishing up dry wall touches and painting after inside piping was replaced. what happened was the inside dry way replacement became an immense job and somehow Platinum stepped up worked around the clock over the weekend to finish now the added on job of inside and out. Due to the weather at that time of year, it took several weeks, with the crew working on the house when weather permitted, to complete the job. Caulking should not be applied when the house is wet from morning dew or after a rain (both of which were an issue at that time of year). You want to seal the moisture OUT not IN. So there were many days when the caulking could not be done. I got regular updates via email about the progress. While I was anxious for the job to get done, I was more concerned that it be done RIGHT. So was the provider. The crew cleaned up after themselves, leaving no mess behind.
I was so fortunate to find this company. I would use this company again. They are professional from the first contact until the job is done. The quality of work was excellent.
