Superior Pools

After a rough start with Superior Pool It was brought to my attention, & I understand that the supply chain issues was our hold up Peter contacted me, explain the situation and said he would take over the project he also told me we would be swimming in 2 to 3 weeks “WELL” I’m writing this review to say “Peter” of Superior Pool and spa, did his Magic & BOOM WE R SWIMMING, & I’m so excited , to to say we love this Beautiful pool in our backyard Thank you Peter Job well done

I rated this company with one star on 10/12/21. about a week after I posted the review, I was contacted by the owner of the company to arrange to show me invoices from our second day of digging to verify how much it really cost compared to what we were charged. He told me that I would have them today and as of yet I have not received them, but I did tell him that I would remove my negative review until today. I cannot seem to remove a review on Angie's list for some reason, so I am providing another one to balance it out. I still hope to receive documentation of where the almost 15,000 extra we were charged went, but I am going to uphold my end of the deal with this updated review. I still question what Peter's definition of "trust worthy" is, but the pool itself does look nice. We are awaiting someone to come look at some of the travertine that has become uneven and started to crack, which is why I am only giving 3 stars at this point. Would hire agin with the * that anyone signing a contract wth them get a clause that they will not be charged more than a certain amount of any problems are encountered during initial day and that owner is given 48 hours to decide on extra expense without any delay in their construction process.

Very well. Brian, the tech rep, did a commendable job and offered me tips that will be useful in the future. He is a good man doing honest work, and he fixed the problem. I would recommend Superior Pools and will use them in the future.

Despite being a Sunday, Eric came to my house, patiently diagnosing the problem to ensure my pool was operating properly. He could have easily waited Monday as they do not normally service pools on Sundays, but instead he was committed to getting this fixed before the next night's freeze. Great service!! I'll never switch.

We recently moved to North Carolina from New York. We wanted to put in a built in pool. We were very nervous it's a big job and our yard has a big slope . We didn't want to have to put in a retaining wall. We called aloha pools first. We told them what we wanted to spend when the guy came for the estimate and talked forever and gave me a guesstimate of 8 to 10 grand more then I told him what I wanted to spend and then never called me back with an estimate. Then we called superior pools. Edward came and got right to the point. I told him what I wanted to spend and he made a beautiful drawing and he kept the price I wanted .Superior gave us a lot for our money. They were on the ball and they were in constant contact with us. John was the general contractor and we called him with any questions we had and he always got back to us. Kathy in the office was in constant contact with us through every step. The pool looks beautiful and we were very happy.

So far, we have a good experience with them. Everything they have done so far has been satisfactory and they seem to be well to bend over because we made a couple of changes since we started and they were very cooperative in that. The project is a little bit behind because of the weather but they are doing their best. They are a good option for pools.

Tee Jay came out to give the quote and showed up when he said he would. Gave me his quote to perform the work within 1 business day in writing via email. Once agreed upon, I asked him about opening the pool. He and his crew came out as scheduled and performed all of the work and got my pool sparkling clean. He did not charge me a dime more then he quoted and had my pool looking good in no time. He was very knowledgable about the chemistry of pools and the equipment. When asked Tee Jay walked me thru what I needed to do to correct some of the structural issues with my pool and gave me a rough estimate of what it would cost to repair. He returned to my house almost daily, if not daily, to make sure the opening was going as planned and if he needed to add any chemicals, brush/skim the pool, and/or backwash. After all services were provided he sat down with me and he gave me step by step instructions on how to open and close my pool, how much chemicals to add, and what not to do. I have recommended him to several people and will use him going forward for all pool work.
