There were two problems during the job.
1. The contractor installed the vent pipe for the HVAC so that it was directly visible from the street. It emerged from the front roof rather than at the back of the roof. I insisted that the vent pipe be located so that it was not visible. On the third try, after I showed them how it could be done, they finally got it right. If this had been done properly initially, the house would have had two fewer holes cut onto the roof.
2. The contractor has yet to provide a company warranty or a manufacturer warranty for any of the three units despite promising on several occasions to provide them. I finally went directly to one of the manufacturers to obtain warranty information. I cannot understand why this has turned out to be such an issue, especially since I was told that the warranties "would be in the mail".
Given the unwillingness of the contractor to provide warranty information on a totally new installation, it is difficult to recommend the company to anyone.
