Great company! Came in under budget!!!

Their quote came in considerably lower than the other company I contacted. A third company never bothered to return my call for a quote. They had been highly recommended to me by a neighbor who has used them for multiple projects over the last nine years. They were prompt with the quote, did a great job and were finished in a single day, did clean-up to the extent where the place looked better than it did before they arrived. The crew was polite and efficient, and very professional. I am definitely planning on using them again, for painting as well as siding work.

They did better job for us the other day. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

As I mentioned, I hired CNE to paint the exterior of my house several years ago. Another family in my neighborhood had utilized their services and given them a great review. When I initially utilized them to paint my home, I was very satisfied all the way around. Harley Easter, the business owner, is prompt for appointments and in getting estimates for work, which he will do via email for efficiency.
Mario, the lead painter at this point, is very friendly, professional, and attentive to all preferences and instructions. If I had a request, he responded immediately. He and his crew showed up punctually each day.

Upon finalizing the job, there were a couple of things I requested be touched-up, and the project manager, Kevin, responded promptly and had Mario come to my home and take care of everything.

I pointed out to Kevin that CNE doesn't have enough visibility on Angie's list! If I didn't already have a relationship with CNE, I wouldn't have located them on Angie's list since the true scope of the company's work is not reflected on Angie's list, nor are there any customer reviews to indicate satisfaction of service! Hopefully, they can somehow contact Angie's list and get the name of the company adjusted to match their new name (CNE Home Improvement), including Harley Easter as owner and accurate contact information. They deserve to have higher billing based on their high business standards and quality of work in the Triad area! I have a neighbor who utilized them for a home remodeling project, and they were VERY happy with the work.

CNE sales guy promised full quality on old paint scraping and that each rotted area would be singled out and the wood replaced. They did send a carpenter who replaced some frame components. The paint work cosmetically looked perfect when completed. A couple of months later I noticed the paint to pop on one of the frames. Huge strips of paint would peel off easily with a finger, the wood rotted. CNE came out, fixed the window and, supposedly, inspected the work. Within a year, I had severe rotting on about half of my window frames underneath the paint. I went on patching the wood and spot paint myself. From what I can tell, CNE workers didn t re-caulk, didn't prime, painted right over soft wood and, likely, wet wood. With the high-grade sealing paint they used over wet unprepared surface they caused more damage to my frames than if the wood was left bare.

THE JOB WAS GOOD. THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS THAT THE WORKERS DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH SO THERE WAS A LANGUAGE BARRIER, BUT I LIKED THE JOB THEY DID.

I felt that they gave us a good estimate for the work. I'm happy with the way it all turned out. They did a very good job and they left a very clean site.
