Simpson Roofing

I felt that I was seriously taken advantage of. I was told that it was going to rain again any minute and I would have damage to my home if I did not have repairs done immediately. I was charged $220.00 for replacing the shingles that I provided. Other roofers in the area were busy responding to the storm damage so I had no choice but to pay this ridiculous price for 20 minutes labor. I am recently widowed and this was my first experience with Angie's list and having to hire a company for repairs. I am very disappointed with this company and with Angie's list for recommending this company.

Jeff arrived at our home to inspect an issue we were having with missing shingles, after Hurricane Irene.   Jeff and his wife introduced themselves to us and gave us a brief overview of their experience and the history of their family business.  This was great to see and made us feel very comfortable with them.

Jeff personally performed the inspection and  then had his 2 sons stay to perform the repair.  When they went on the roof, they found that the missing shingles had allowed the board underneath to rot.  They brought this to our attention, fixed both the roof and shingles AND put some new caulking around all of our roof vents to keep everything sealed tightly. They even went so far as to bring down the rotted board after the repair to show my husband the rot and to show him that they had cut over far enough into good wood to ensure a proper seal again.

They charged a very fair price for the repair and gave us every confidence that they will be around should we ever need them again.

Definitely a fantastic family business and I will recommend them always.
