Woke up Saturday morning to discover our water heater was leaking. Reached out to Mike McGee, he located a suitable water heater, and came out and replaced the water heater the same day. Very friendly, very professional, did a very good job, left job site clean. I highly recommend him and The Gentleman Plumber, and wouldn't hesitate to use them for any other plumbing project.

Mike came in with in very short time, assessed the situation, did the prep work and replaced leaking heater. Wow. We were back in order within two hours. Highly Professional and with a personal touch - - he called back the next day to see if all was ok. We appreciated meeting and working with him. Will call him again as well as recommend The Gentleman Plumber to others.

Free inspection and estimate with the ability to return the following day to complete the work. They arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner. The work was done professionally and they did an outstanding job cleaning up the work site. I would definitely go back to them for any additional plumbing projects.

They sounded very good. I was excited about using them. A week later, I called and left a message that I had not received a quote. I went ahead and hired someone else. Two weeks after the initial contact, they called and asked if I had received their quote (which I had not), but it didn't matter... the one I hired was halfway through the job.

It went great. I hated spending the money (don't we all?), but I couldn't have asked for a better, hard working crew of men to do this work. I know they had other jobs today, but to get all these men and knock it out quickly, I really appreciated that I didn't have to keep living, knowing I was losing water and $$, until it was more convenient for them.

The water line from the meter to the house next door broke. Owners are friends and were out of town, but had renters in the house. I contacted McGee and Sons to see if they could make the repair, knowing that it was a holiday at the beach and that they would be slammed with business. Mike said that they had about 30 calls to get to, but were in the area and would stop by in about an hour and a half to make the repair. Low and behold, two McGee trucks rolled up within the hour and started looking for the break. I had assured him I knew pretty much where the break was based on all of the water welling up in the yard, which would make for a quick repair for a work-in. Well, I was wrong, and it took them about 30 minutes to locate the break; so the job took longer than they hoped. Anyway, they did a super job--prompt, professional, courteous, and saved the day for my neighbors and their renters. I didn't rate them on price, b/c the invoice went directly to my neighbors.

Mr. McGee sent Lucas out to the house to handle our repairs. Lucas was on time and very helpful. He investigated the problem and walked me through the ideal solution, which turned out to be less work than I'd initially asked for. We had an outdoor pipe freeze during winter but didn't realize it until we actually turned the water back on. Lucas not only repaired the problem, he put in place measures to ensure the pipes can be properly drained next winter. While he was there I decided to ask him about an outdoor shower head and broken handle on the outdoor faucet. Lucas had everything on hand to effect those repairs as well. When all was said and done Lucas had fixed more problems than I'd originally intended to ask about and was still less than the amount I was expecting to pay. "The Gentleman Plumber" is an apt description of McGee and Sons.

Mike and his son are very professional and courteous. The quality of their work is outstanding. After opening our beach cottage we discovered that our hot water heater was on it's last legs. Since the unit was 36 years old, it was time for a new one. I called Mike McGee at the Gentleman Plumber and I was pleasantly surprised that he could come out that day. Mike's son arrived first and removed the old heater and had the new one on a stand and ready to install when Mike arrived. After a little bit of re-plumbing everything was completed and I had hot water that evening. I had a couple of small jobs replacing valves in the yard and they were more than happy to replaces them. It is a pleasure to know that I have an excellent plumber to use when I need one.

Everything was great. Mike and his son are true professionals. Completely honest and trustworthy. He kept me updated and made sure we were satisfied. We called for emergency service and he took care of us right away. It was a very pleasant experience and I will use him again as well as recommend him to anyone else in the area. ,I couldn't have asked for a better plumber, and person to work with. Mike is truly the Gentleman Plumber. I was kept apprised of the progress and issues that he faced with the job. This communication was very important to me since the house he was working on was 2 1/2 hours from my primary residence. The 63 year old beach house where Mike was doing the renovation belonged to my grandparents and has been passed down to me. Mike was incredibly respectful of the unique qualities and challenges that the house presented and treated his work with it as if it were his own home. No detail was too small, no problem arose that he couldn't overcome. The bathroom is now a showplace. I know that in Mike, I have found someone who is invested in my house and keeping it up and running. This is truly a relationship that will continue for many,many years. I've already spoken with him about re-plumbing the outdoor shower in the Spring!! He will have my business for years to come.
