M & M PAINTING

They are the worse people. They are a huge thumbs down, they are awful! The guy that owns the company probably weights about 500 pounds, so he is limited in what he can do. He cussed me out because he had a partner with him and they were on the job one day. I didn?t know who owned the company and I was talking to the partner about an estimate to fix some rot right at a door jam in our garage, it?s kind of low lined, so water gathers there. He quoted me on replacing the entire door jam, but the guy that owns the company pulled me aside and told me off for talking to his employee. I told him, ?Well, I didn?t know it was your employee!? Really, I was talking to both of them. The employee answered me, gave me a tremendous price to replace to replace the entire door jam. I had someone else come out here, they were able to cut that section out and replace it, just build it back for nothing. I mean it probably didn?t cost me $20 and they did a great job. M & M also did some painting on my back door and it looked awful. I told him, ?That?s going to need a second coat!? He said, ?I?ve already given it a 2 coats!? I said, ?Well, I guess it?s going to need a third coat!? Anyway, when the other painters came, they looked at it and they told me, ?He only gave this door one coat!? I asked them how they could tell. He said something about the pattern in the door or something, he said, ?You could tell there?s not even any paint right here!? He said, ?There?s no way that he did more than one coat!? I told him,? He told me he did 2!? He said, ?Well, it wouldn?t look like this, he did not give you 2!? They just cheated and lied all the way around and I told him not to come back. He started harassing me, he came over to get what he had left, a ladder and a drop cloth. He came by to get it and I was talking to a tree man. He thought that I was talking to another painter and he started harassing me over that. I was afraid! We have a brick mailbox and a brick walkway and a lot of brick on our house. I was afraid he was going to come by here and throw paint all over my brick. I mean they were really nasty, nasty, nasty folks. What is it was another painted, it wasn?t any of his business, I had dismissed him. I don?t remember the cost, I?m going to say at least maybe $300 or $400. Then he came back and said that the bill wasn?t completely paid and he wanted like another $150. I told him, ?I am not paying you $150!? We kind of went around and round and I finally told him I would give him half of it, so we settled it that way. I would give a big negative, an ?F? on pricing, they didn?t finish the job, they barely started the job and to charge me that much money. There is no quality, absolutely none! I don?t know how he is in business! For responsiveness he was terrible, he talked to me in a manner that you just don?t talk to people when you are in business.
