I live in a three story home with a reverse floor plan. A stain, indicating a leak appeared on the ceiling of a guest bedroom on the second floor. When I found the stain, it appeared totally dry and I have no idea when it appeared because I don't look at the ceiling every time I enter the room. The nearest source of water would would be a half bath or the master bathroom on the third floor. Wes Carter (company president) said that he was confident that he could locate the source of the leak with his infrared imaging equipment. Mr Carter arrived on time and began his inspection in the guest bedroom. During his inspection he checked the bedroom ceiling, the top floor half bath, master bathroom, the refrigerator ice maker and the wall where the ice maker water line is. In the end, Mr Carter was unable to locate a leak or moisture in the ceiling, floor, or walls. Mr Carter gave me instructions on how to spot the leak quickly if it occurs again, and to call as soon as possible. Since he did not locate the source of the leak, there was no charge. He was professional during the entire inspection process and I feel he would have located the source if there was any moisture present.
