Satisfied, not superior

The salon is clean and attractive with polished wood floors and a lot of high quality hair products availible for sale in the main room you walk into when you enter the salon. The place was also busy which is a good sign. Donna at Hairoics came to get me within 10 minutes and after a brief consult went to mix my color. After putting on the color with a lot of attention to covering all my roots she asked if I wanted a magazine and then I waited for my color to process . When it was finished she washed my hair and trimmed my bangs. She was able to perfectly match my color and was careful not to cut my bangs too short. I did not have my hair blown out because my hair is dry so I rarely use a blow dryer- there would undoubtedly have been an extra fee for that service.

The only weakness in the salon is their website which gives a lot of information about wedding services and causes they support but I could not find any basic information on what basic hair service fees would be or even what was offered. It may be the site is still a work in progress or perhaps there are limitations when using an iPad. I have also noted that in the outerbanks a number of businesses still do not have websites- even the local paper (The Coastland Times) is not available online! Just call them if you have questions or want to book an appointment.

Overall I would definitely reccomend Donna and Hairoics.
