Offering family beach portraits, senior portraits, vow renewals, reunions and anniversaries, Ascencion Photography gives you exceptional quality in creative portraiture, from image capture to final print. We guarantee the quality of our prints and canvases. PPA Master Photographer Gordon Kreplin is a recipient of the international 2009, 2011 and 2012 Gold Level Photographer of the Year Award by PPA. These significant photographic industry award is earned for excellence in imaging AND printing. Gordon is a member of Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of North Carolina, and the Better Business Bureau, subscribing to the highest ethical standards in photography and in business. Description of Work: Out of all the photographers I have used, they are my least favorite. They were expensive. I also did not like the way they did the posing and the way they worked with the children.

Gordon, who holds his PPA Master Photographer Degree, generally works with additive lighting and an assistant and uses the finest medium format portrait equipment in the world. We consult with our clients before and after the session. All of this is reflected in our pricing. Our style is classical - simple, refined, showing relationship, technically excellent, timeless (meaning, not trendy). Potential clients are treated to an extensive portfolio of Gordon’s family beach portraiture on our website; those who become clients are already well familiar with his style - his posing, composition and control of light - before their session is booked. On our website, we present Gordon’s photographic artistry clearly, intending to attract clients who understand and are drawn to his work. Regarding working with children - we love and look forward to them! We have decades of experience working with, as well as parenting, children of all ages. If you have some specific input for us about working with children, we welcome you to call our studio and share it with us directly. We constantly learn from our clients.
