Rodriquez Painting

I hired Mr Rodriquez to paint my daughters house inside and out. We had just purchased a house that had been a rental property for some time. Needless to say it required a lot of work. Mr. Rodriquez offered to do the job for 16.00 an hour. He will quote for the job or just work for 16.00 an hour. If you pay him by the hour you will have to pay for any supplies or materials that are needed if he does not have them already. I just met him at Lowes after he had selected everything he needed including the paint, and I paid for it and left. Easy enough. He used his pressure washer to clean and prep the exterior. ( add 200.00 ) He is a deliberate and cautious painter. He did a very good job inside and out. He painted all the doors, all the new windows, and every inch of interior space high and low. It was a big job. He is not a super fast whiz bang in and out kinda guy. He was on the job for about 8 or 9 days but there was a lot of attention to detail and a lot of misc. stuff to do. We had three other contractors coming and going and sometimes he had to wait for them to finish their part. He is a calm and patient man. His final bill was still well under ( a lot ) the other bids I had received from the whiz bang in and out guys. I have to say by the time he finished we were friends. A very likable guy. He now comes by and keeps her 6 acres of grass cut. Mr Rodriquiz is not a fancy high gloss outfit. Just a simple man that is a very good painter. Also perhaps worth mentioning, a family of 4 was there everyday he was working. He comfortably worked around all the distraction. I saved a good bit of money and got a high quailty job in the end. I recommend Mr Rodriquiz for all your painting, ( or mowing ) needs.
