The business was incorporated and the name changed in 1989. Les is a North Carolina native who is an alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Fresh out of college, he worked for an oil company in Tulsa and Miami, from where he was drafted into the army and served two years. He then lived in Virginia Beach working for Xerox Corp. for 8 years. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to move back home and begin his construction business. He wanted to apply the lessons he had learned about customer care and customer service to his own business, and has always lived by the philosophy that: "Without the customer, the need for the rest of us doesn't exist." Geoffrey Mitchell, the Vice-President of Mitchco, represents the next generation of the organization's leadership. Geoff brings over a decade of customer-focused building practices into each quality Mitchco Custom Home. He attended East Carolina University and is a Certified Green Professional Builder. Geoff is an integral part of Mitchco and he passionately continues the tradition of excellence that Mitchco has built over the last three decades. His innovative ideas combined with Mitchco's proven methods and successful building practices are what continue to make us relevant in today's market. Bonnie Brehm is our office manager and customer coordinator. She uses every resource available to assist our clients in making the many decisions required in a custom home. Bonnie has been with Mitchco since 1995 and is an integral part of our committed service to our homebuyers. Bonnie represents the pinnacle of organization and thoroughness.
