FRED'S BEDS

Steve Williams was our salesperson. He was knowledgeable about his products. He spent a lot of time explaining to me the different kinds of futons, helping me to measure the frames, and talking to me about the value of the mattresses. I had a space issue and I wasn't sure if the futon was going to fit. I shopped on line for futons as well. The prices at Fred's Beds were comparable to what you can find on line. When you go to the store you can see the different finishes and sit on the different futon mattresses. I called all around Charlotte looking for a place that had some kind of selection---the mattress places that I called only had 2-3 different futons. It is worth the drive into Kannapolis to see for yourself what you are getting and Fred's does have a good selection. Also, they only charged me $45.00 to deliver and set-up the futon. Many stores on line have free shipping, but they deliver a box. You have to put the futon together. Steve called to tell me about his store participating in the tax-free weekend. Perfect! I ordered the futon from him on a Friday and it was delivered the following Thursday. They called to say it was on the truck and that they were coming to the house. Two men arrived to deliver and set-up. They were courteous and friendly. They put the futon together and whisked away all box and plastic wrap garbage. The men showed me how to work the futon before they left. The futon looks great in the room and we are happy with our purchase.
