I got tired of spending money on repairs, so I had a new unit put in. I had a big unit in. We didn't have to do the duct work. It was a 300 xl and it was three and a half ton. They took out the old one and put in the new one. Then they did the return handler inside the house. They were here all day doing it. It was two or three guys that came out. I know a lot of people up here that use him. I checked with a couple of other companies and they were higher. It was a high efficiency, and they were right on. They were here at 7 o'clock in the morning. It also included a 10 year warranty on it. They registered all of the paperwork for the warranty on the air conditioner. It includes parts and labor for the next 10 years. It was a Trane unit. The big thing was the 10 year warranty. They are dependable, quality of work is excellent, and the responsiveness is second to none.
